Well I've carved the heart out of my unfinished NANO and am turning it into my submission for this thing. Should be able to finish by the 18th if I can do what I never can do, which is figure out the ending.

I've only got half the brief covered and before I can get to the second half I have to get to an emotional point where I can unpack my writing brain again. Which won't be till the 23rd at earliest.

It's becoming abundantly clear I've massively over-stretched myself again (despite saying I'd try not to - damn story just won't behave!) and I've got a ton of plot debt to resolve before I can get anywhere near a satisfactory conclusion. I've got a couple of days to focus on it lined up but it's going to be down to the wire, if at all. What with Christmas coming up, I'm very likely to be late too this time.
