A story has finally wriggled from my skull-slime after days and days of blankness. Just about t'hit 1k. Enjoying my protagonist and getting into the swing of things....

In other news, this SF stuff is much more time-consuming to write than Fantasy. I'm actually doing research. Last time I just made everything up!
