The Belgariad trivia

Because they die from some sorcery induced calamity before they can be discovered?

That is what I was after, the Big Peat. If their first act of sorcery was a 'be not' it would also have been the last, as they were obliterated. And as many first acts of the will and the word were made in anger, that would be why so few instances of spontaneous sorcery were encountered. Your turn to ask a question.

Softball question, but since I can't remember the exact spelling and its bugging me and I'm too lazy to look it up, name Torak's 3 disciples :p

That's it. Ctuchik's name is such a mouth stretching abomination I couldn't remember it, thought there were some extra cs in there.

Your turn.

Name eight non-human species that feature / are mentioned in the books.

The Unicorns brought the first Gorim water to drink, whilst Gorim waited on the mountain of Prolgu for UL to accept him. It was the year that Dragons brought him meat. It is from the Prologue of Magician's Gambit, being an account of how Gorim sought a God for his people. The prologue os based upon The Book of Ulgo and other fragments.

The same prologue also mentions the minotaur, the chimaera, the winged serpent and otheg unamed and unseen creatures amongst the outcast, that Gorim convinced UL to accept. These are all monsters, which is an Ulgo word for non human creatures that were accepted into the peace of UL.

Beldin; I was angry, with you I think.

Belgarath; Then why did you take it out on that tree ?

In, "Belgarath," Beldin simply starts to translocate boulders for Belgatath's tower. He already had the gift, having, "Picked it up someplace," but this was the first time we saw him use it.
