I write it.
Send it to Sinister42.
Then he sends the tale to the one who came up with the idea.
Then a "Guessing Thread" will be created - and we guess who the writer is by viewing small segments of each story.
Later, all story writers are revealed (as to who wrote what).

And finally, if Sinister42 likes the tale (which is over 1000 words, but under 5000), he will ask to use them on a show.

Am I clear on this?

Yes. And also, many of the writers choose to post their story (as an attachment) in this thread (or the guessing one?) after it's all done, so that everyone can read the whole thing -- and some people choose not to, if they think they may wish to publish it or submit it somewhere for publication later.

I'm up to 2k. I apologise to the person receiving my story as it's likely to be quite long.

And given the stimulus/request I never thought I'd even have an idea. But I have. And it's awesome. If I do say so myself.

Also, it's sooooo refreshing to write something set in the present or future. My WIP is so historical-biased that I have to check everything I write for anachronisms etc.

This way I'm freeeee and loving it.

I'm disappointed and annoyed.

I'm going to have to drop out, as my rickety old laptop decided to die early hours this morning. I couldn't even salvge the hard drive, everything is lost.

My apologies to everyone. I genuinely love this challenge and I'm pissed that I won't be submitting a story for my recipient. @sinister42 can you find someone to take over my assigned story? Perhaps @Mad Alice could fill in if she would still like to take part?
