No, not synced to anything I'm afraid. I'm not too good with tech at the best of times.

I was quoted one hundred pounds to fix by a local computer repair shop but I don't think I'll bother, might as well just buy a new one altogether.

@Vaz, there are some computer tech services that may be able to recover all your data from the laptop's hard drive. Then you can copy all the data onto your new laptop. Might be worth checking into if you have a lot of data you'd like to recover.

Exactly. I did this years ago when I moved from MS to Mac. I bought this pack online which consisted of a universal port thing and those long ribbon-y cable things and it showed up just like a USB.

I finished A version of my assignment last night... Not sure if I want to try and make a PDF of my handwritten pages, or something else.

Inordinately pleased with the short as it stands. Humbly greatful my muses decided to be nice to me and banter at a speed I could keep up with. And tempted to fiddle with it as I've got time...

Vaz asked me and I am 1800 words in. Was twice as long but I found a quite big aleph null sized hole in the science bits and I've had to go back and respackle. Sorry it's not done yet but I'll give it a good push out.
