Discussion thread -- June 2017 75-word Writing Challenge

The easiest search would begin by looking to see what happens when I win these things. Although that only takes you to the middle of the actual history.

Hey Great theme and genre! --- Now if I can only think of a story. :(

But here are some people who did:

@Victoria Silverwolf .... Points us to a too near future which might beg to differ with the axiom "Better Late, than Never."

@Culhwch .... Shows us a Fantasy world where the cure may be worse than the disease, leading us to doubt the "Best Laid Plans."

@Cathbad .... Leads us to a future where things really do not change because there will be some foul up cat, who likely as not will be shown as "The Cat Wore Prada."

@Luiglin .... Reminds us that even in Fantasy "Private Investigations," Murphy's Law still reigns supreme.

@Wruter .... Shows us that even in the Future you have to not only read but understand the fine print then perhaps you will "Never Be Disappointed Again."

@Ashleyne .... Reminds everyone that there might not be a future if we cannot understand each other. When we don't understand each other we are just moments away from a "Kitty Apocalypse."

@HoopyFrood .... Brings us to a time when Murphy's Law reigns supreme and there can be "No Exceptions."

@Lumens .... No time will advance beyond a time when Murphy's Law does not come into play. You see it in "The Inverse Domino Idiosyncratic Orbital Time Effect."

Very Clever all. I'm really flummoxed now for a story.

@Antimon .... Of all the corollaries to Murphy's Law the one that hangs on into the future is "Murphy's Sandwich Law."

Welcome Antimon. Feel free to introduce yourself on the Introductions thread. All I can say about your story is ewwww, I don't want one of those sandwiches!!!

Well I've submitted one "Get it Right"
And yaay, it mentions cats, that's gotta guarantee me a vote.
(What? What do you mean it doesn't? I thought they would think I was one of the cognoscenti because the word cats was in my story? No? Curses!)

Done! Thanks for the welcome and directions to the Introductions forum, and sorry for being disgusting. :)

@dannymcg .... Writes a scarily true near future tale of how to lose Chron's Challenges, but only once. He wants to make sure to "Get It Right!"

This one made me chuckle! I love that.

@Robert Mackay .... Gives us a space station who tried to defeat Murphy, only to be defeated by his law. It's all written down as the "Incident On Station Summer Breeze."

@David Evil Overlord .... Brings us a post apocalypse story of the "Publish and Perish and Publish" conundrum.
