NaNoWriMo 2017

Of course! I think the group might be private so ratsy might have to send you an invite or sommat.

I'm in, though I do not know the way.

Err, sorry. that was JRRT breaking through from the other side. Or possibly Peter Jackson.

I'm hoping to have a bash at NaNo this year, but I don't know if life will let me. At least my family know what November brings, and tend to cut me a little more slack than they do the rest of the year.

You know what I got a story idea I want to try out. Screw it. I heard theres this group for this? Can I be invited?

I am so used to juggling anyways throwing a bit more onto the plate would be nice. I need an excuse to start this bloody train wreck of a story anyways.

I think you're in the wrong business if you have to use psychological self-help tactics to force yourself to write. So no, I won't be doing NaNOWriMo.

I don't know. My other half has already bought a whip to keep me on track and I've stocked up with matchsticks so that I can banish sleep.

Good for you. :p
But, more seriously, use the best writing/production method for you. Still, NaNo works for some people. There have been some books which came to be published after being started on NaNo, so there's room for different mindsets and mentalities in the 'business'. Don't judge too harshly. ;)

*suddenly is trying to interpret everything 5 different ways and becoming agitated:whistle:*

I wasn't trying to be rude. But I think if your daily thought in the morning is, "Ah sh*t, I need to write 2,000 words, I hate everyone," maybe you don't actually like writing? For me, I know it wouldn't work, because

A. I hate being told what to do with a passion, and
B. It starts to feel like work, and I don't like working.

Let's face it. No one else likes working either, except for the 1% that lies to you.

I have three main principles for success.
1. Don't let other people tell you what to do, but
2. Always be asking for advise and guidance, and
3. Do what you enjoy, because then you're not working.

Cheers!
