Discussion -- January 2018 -- 75 Word Challenge

Howdy, I thought that I entered the. Discussion earlier? Now I don't see my message? I'm having trouble getting the hang of this new tablet.

Bob! How the hell are ya?

You did enter the discussion, but it was the one for the 300-word challenge. :) Which, according to my interpretation of the arcane rules of the society, means you now must enter a 300-word story. Preferably in the 300-word thread, not in the 75-word one. And send it to me to count first. Those can be tricky. :p

Oh, and "new tablet"? Aren't we getting fancy!

Aww, c'mon in, the water's fine. :D

Says the person who won't be thinking about a story until the 30th, and can't recall what the picture is...

This obviously means TDZ has a story written, and is waiting until the last hour for the customary game of chicken with the Bear :D

@Warren Kramer .... Shelter .... is a tale filled with laughter some of sarcastic and some of it might be a little bit demented.

Welcome to the 75 word challenge! I can almost hear the main character of your story cackling in a demented sort of way.

@farntfar .... Proverbs .... is a tale of maxims taken to the maximum.

Dusty, this tablet is smarter than I am, it took me all day just to find d my way back into the discussion thread. It didn't want me here!
It aiso puts words in my mouth or on the screen or whatever it is called. So let's be cereal for a minuete, can I enter the 75 worder and forget that 300 stuff for how? At two words a minute I'd be typlng when I should be napping!

Bob

Bob, I tend to write the majority of my stuff using my tablet these days using a rechargeable Bluetooth keyboard rather than the screen. You can get a good one really cheap off Amazon. Just make sure if you do that you get the correct keyboard layout as they are different in US and UK. Then I use MS Word app with files stored on the cloud either in One Drive or Google Drive. So that when I'm on home desktop PC they're still accessible.

As I sit here pondering my 75 words, it suddenly occurred to me that time is running out on the Perp Challenge...

I know, I know there are the much more regular challenges out and about this month, but the Perp is something really different, a lot of fun and there are two chances to win...
