Can we be sure that those aren't trays of Klingon delicacies that have been adapted (to some extent) for human consumption?

In complete contrast: the Delahaye Type 135 Competition Court Roadster of 1937...

'This car is for an owner who views driving as a theatrical performance, adopting the proper air of bored insouciance at a red-light while being ogled by drivers and pedestrians alike.'

Talking about the rear ends of cars....

About an hour ago, I was out walking and approaching a parked car with a small (2" by 2" or slightly larger) cartoon stuck on it, to the right of the rear registration plate. The driver was nowhere to be seen, so there was no chance for me to tell them that they should get their brakes fixed.

The cartoon...? Something very close (if not identical) to this:

Interesting that the wheel arrangement seems to have been reversed. In the advert it has one wheel at the front whereas Clarkson's has two at front and one at back (more stable incidentally).
Never noticed that. Perhaps the original configuration had the same problems as the Reliant Robin...

Such was my assumption. Interestingly they seem to have simply reversed much of it without changing it. So, for instance, in the advert the door hinges at the front and in Clarkson's it hinges at the back!

That's because it has no reverse gear, and if you drive it into a garage, you can't get out! (like the Isetta - from 1.01)...
