Suggestions for classic car for epic road trip to Hell

@millymollymo And thank you for pointing out that the choice of car model will likely need to take into consideration the two petite adventurers needing to reach the pedals.

I come from a family of very petite women (at least, height-wise) and the shortest amongst us have to pull the driver's seat all the way forward, put a cushion or two on the seat itself, and wear heels in order to reach the pedals on some of the larger cars (to wit: my shortest aunts who are between 4ft 8ins and 4ft 11ins).

Not a problem. :) You might also want to consider the finances involved in getting hold of any of these beauties. The more grunt and "curb appeal" the more £$ required. Did brother get it from scrap and build it up, or win it in a lottery? Maybe they have one of those Tony Stark rich uncle sorts funding their antics ;) Either way, 'borrowing' a car with that kind of history is going to have implications.

On the other hand...

Then again, there is this option ;)

I believe there is a law that states: You may NOT show the Munster's Coach without Drag-u-la as well.

They live, work, and play in the Afterlife so money as we know it doesn't come into play. But how my little kitsune's big brother acquired the car could be an interesting story in itself :)

1969 Dodge Super Bee, 440+6, w/ornamental side-scoops.

The hood from the factory was an all flat black lift off, 4-pin hold down, fiberglass hood with a massive scoop and Ramcharger-air induction. Have as was common wider tires one the rear (the original wheel wells and axle offset allowed for massively wide tires in the rear that remained under the quarter-panels). Aftermarket Hooker Headers, Cherry Bomb Glass Packs, not much else is needed unless you wished for aftermarket nitrous.

Dark green with a black interior was the most popular color, now-a-days however it would be orange with the same interior.

Quit collectable.

The pictures of these classic (or otherwise) cars are giving me ideas on what a traffic jam on the Highway to Hell will look like. There will certainly be some sentient vehicles or demons that look like vehicles etc. Everything from every single era of transport too, methinks.

This is going to be EPIC!

(Also: everybody, dead or alive, hates paying tolls to use roads, that's for sure!)

If I knew how to add a link this would be easier but....

Go to Youtube, Look for ..... Rolls Royce & Avions Voisen ....(My Classic Car)

There are a number of good choices there depending on the mood of your story. The Avions has got to be a car the Devil would drive.

Personally I think the Fiat Shellette would be a great choice for your characters.
Or... there are a number of classic mini/micro cars that may work.
Isetta
Messerschmitt Tiger
Goggomobile
Austin 7
Fiat 800 or the Abarth 850 TC version.
Mini Marcos or Mini Moke.

Being wee folk, maybe something more in the range of an Austin-Healy, a Sunbeam, Triumph, that sort of thing, would be appropriate. Although picturing them with big wooden blocks attached to their feet so they can reach the pedals, maybe with wads of towels under their butts so they can see over the dash, does give me a giggle.

Also, if it's a highway to hell, are the off-ramps and on-ramps to hell? Petrol seems a bit problematic in the infernal regions. Tough to run a gas station. How about rest stops (do the damned pee)? And surely there's a motel hell, and hell diners.
