This was another hard challenge to judge. It seemed to me that almost everyone had both genre and the theme covered. On top of that there were a lot of fine stories that probably could have made the short list, but didn't. In the end I had to vote for Ms. Silverwolf.

@Garfunkel .... Splash Splish .... For a tale of vigilante justice that came as a complete surprise.
@Culhwch .... White Noise .... For a truly Orwellian view of the future.
@Cat's Cradle .... Underground I'm Charming .... For a cure likely worse than the disease.
@elvet .... Paid Attention .... For about as original idea as I've run across, while being frighteningly plausible.
@nixie .... Saviour or Destroyer? .... For a story which poses a deeply ethical question.
@L.L.Lotte .... Addiction Society .... For making commercials the hero. This is the definition of a truly counter cultural story.

I like that, could make for some interesting reads. Also think of the headaches people under 30 and non Brits will have trying to work out carry on and matron
