Thanks for the info. Does anybody remember the last time a tie happened? And...are there ever three- or four-way ties?

...Which naturally leads to the question, has there ever been a tie on the tie-breaker poll?

Yeah. A few times. They’re listed as joint winners, I think

At least twice, maybe three times, and generally involving me. The dual winners collaborate in whatever way they please, to come up with theme and genre.

I thought this month featured a number of strong entries, too many to list, but @Peter V was my clear winner. Made me laugh out loud.

I shared @Parson 's reservations in coming up with a story of dark humour/ black comedy, assuming that this category had to be significantly on the sick side of dark, but I see others (thank you @Luiglin ) have explained it more broadly.
