First there are two people I would dearly like an explanation from when it is possible: @Victoria Silverwolf and @The Judge for their hidden meanings and words.
Probably unfair of me, but I wasn't attracted to the less realistic spy stories. On the whole I love spy stories, but I have a difficult time with the tongue in cheek aspect in so many of them that others find endearing.
In the end I voted for By Any Other Name by @reiver33. It had the drama and pathos which I find so appealing in a real spy story.
And my vote goes to.... @Star-childAfter much thought, discussions and some 'eeny, meeny, miny, moe" (the results of which were discarded afterwards) I have finally completed the following shortlist:
@mosaix
@Star-child
@HazelRah
@Perpetual Man
@Ursa major
No decision has yet been taken on who gets the vote.
(Sorry!)
Thank you.AGENT X by @RJM Corbet because his story sounded entirely prophetic.
Ahhh! I didn't know I could do that. Just found out how!I never noticed, hope you've removed it .
Difficulty choosing seems to be a common complaint this month, so I am in good company.
