February / March 100 Word Anonymous Challenge Discussion

I agree, name the winner first and the guessing game following (not that I have much of a clue about more than 1 or 2).
 
Go ahead and name the winner. It only takes one story out of the guessing game. There is a slight bit of additional information, if guessers want to try to match the style of the winning story against the others.

Here are some more statistics:
Our winner had the most votes in total (9) for all their entries. Their other entries did not place third.
The runner up did not write the winning story, nor one of the third placing stories.
Two of the third place stories were written by the same person.

Yes @elvet, I really liked the extra clues you gave when you announced the winner, but could we have a list of contributors, please?
 
I agree with @BT Jones’ first two guesses, but don’t know about the rest - apart from the two which were attributed to me, of course.

Here are my first reactions:
- even though two or three of my picks haven’t voted...

Now to draw up a table and make random guesses in a statistical way!
