February / March 100 Word Anonymous Challenge 2024 Discussion

Only 5 days left, and although we have a good selection of entries, some of the usual authors haven't posted yet;

Don't leave it too late.

Yes, please do an entry or two. I don't think my theme of Hidden is that bad, is it?
Oh, that's it! You hid your stories somewhere on this thread! ;)
Now, to find them...

Your choice of theme/genre was great, and we are into the 30s now, which is much better. Hopefully get to 40 with the last couple of days.

Last entry tomorrow night 23:59?

Don't forget.
The 100 anonymous challenge closes for entries tonight at one second to midnight GMT.
If I find any entries tomorrow morning, that were sent before that time, they will be accepted and posted, at that time.
But not a second later.

I will probably be asleep at 00:59:59 French time, however.

If anyone has any more entries for the 100 word challenge, or if you feel like running one off in the next few hours, please submit them to me before midnight GMT this evening, to stand a chance to win one of our magnificent and bewilderingly fictitious prizes.

As you will have understood, the 100 word challenge is now closed for new entries.
I'm a bit busy right now, so I'll put the poll up later in the day/this evening. But you can start reading the entries to decide what's going to get your vote.

Voting is now open for the Feb/March challenge.
All members can choose 2 entries, if they are both chosen at the same time.
Voting will close after 5 days, at which point we will start the author guessing game.

Please make your voting choices here

As always, please keep your comments and discussions in this thread.

Apologies for not posting a story. I planned to write something before the deadline but appear to have contracted covid.

Apologies for not posting a story.
Ya coulda been a red herring in the guessing game;) (or is that a bluff!) Sorry to hear about the virus, hope it's a mild dose.

Voted for:

Family TIEs ...for the dose of space opera/ sitcom shenanigans from the usual culprit

Follow my lead ...for the shadowy world of imagination

Nearly voted for:

Where be dragons -Careful now, if they don't teach ya that in knight school then what's the point.

Seek and Hide -Almost a map, just one thing missing.

Thanks all for all the stories, and thanks @farntfar for stepping in and keeping the show going(y)

My congratulations to you for an excellent story.

I shall publish a list of the contributors tomorrow morning, so that people can have a go at guessing the authors for each story.
I'll also provide a list of all the stories and their authors in a spoiler text, for those who don't wish to play.

My thanks to all the authors who contributed and also to those who submitted comments.

Look out for a new theme and genre chosen by Marvin in the next challenge.
