And three novel by Robert McCammon

My heart leaps up when I behold vintage Penguins all in a row.

My heart leapt when I found I had a copy of the first ever Penguin:

Not exactly a book haul but we just got given this stonking great bookcase:

Which, after some arm wrestling, my wife and I are sharing. She gets the right hand side to fill with 'craft stuff' and I get the left to get my idiotically large number of old Penguin paperbacks out of the boxes where they have been languishing. This will give me a chance to sort through them and de-duplicate things.

The shelves will hold paperbacks three deep so that's about 150 books per shelf. I might get them all in.
I'm not sure what I'm more envious of, the bookcase or the room in which to put the bookcase.

Read
They Thirst many years ago and liked it...

...more than the author as ever since he's stopped it from being republished - and not for any controversial content (a la Stephen King with "Rage") he just doesn't think it's any good. Same goes for another couple of his first books.

Couple of history books today from the shop that arranges all its books by colour. (Avava)
That only applies to its fiction books. Non fiction books are just arranged randomly...
