I find Poul Anderson a strange one; he has a lot of very pulpy novels alongside some much more serious hard SF ones. The latter being what interest me most. My favourites are Tau Zero, The Boat of a Million Years and The Enemy Stars. Bear in mind that these all would have been very serious hard SF when they were written if a little softer now after many years of advancing science.

Ten Days that Shock the World by John Reed This is a book ive heard of but never read or even seen a copy of. I found old hard cover edition. :)
