With barely a soul around.

Gold, red and brown leaves
cover the grass. She has come:
Lady of Autumn.

Home away from home.
Guaranteed to make me smile.

constant hoovering
buzzing and air paper dry
travelling by plane

and my translation:

takai tobi yo
kawaita kuuki ya
hikouki-ryouko
 
Days are still warm, but
there is mist in the morning;
a tang of wood-smoke.

The year is turning, and green-
cloak'd trees doff their summer dress.
 
I think you are supposed to have five syllables in the first line. You've got six: bree-zes carr-y-ing scents.

But I like it. :)
