Fun Haiku

dew lifts into mist
cloudless blue sky frames the trees
the smell of the dawn

Birdsong falls from trees
Like Autumn leaves returning
colour to the ground.

Wind like kitten paws
Softly kneading and purring
Clawing at the leaves.

Sprawled on the summer lawn
a small seed on white paper
becomes a poem.

Methinks you're tired
Your first line has six letters
*sound of sniggering*

:D:D:D

Whoops - missed out a word!

Sprawled on the green summer lawn
a small seed on white paper
becomes a poem.

A simple sorry
Is never enough, is it?
Words, they are useless.

Words are the gateway
to the garden of our minds
"Please leave Gate Open"

The weight of the world
Crashes down, suffocating
I am but a shell.
