I thought this might be fun - search Google images for a favourite charcter, post it here, see if anyone guesses who the character is, and what comic/graphic novel they are from.

The fun is simply taking part. :)

I'll start with an easy one:

That's Delirium from Sandman! A nice, sensitive little girl.

And so is this one. But who is she?

You can find out by copying the image adress, so don't try that ;)

Yeh that's Nausicaa, princess of Shadow Valley, a small country that forms part of, in terms of alliances, the kingdom of Torumekia.

C'mon JP, you post one for us.....:D

Ah, that's Cain of Cain and Abel - from Sandman again. :)

Okay, anyone recognise this hero from Grant Morrison?

HMMM...I think this guy had a realtionship of sorts with Zorro...;)

If I remember rightly he's a rock star who has abilities even he doesn't know about but I won't spoil the party. I'm sure someone out there more deserving tham moi can post the answer and have a turn...:)

It's Valley of the Winds, and Torumekia is really an empire. Just to pick those last nits. ;)

No idea about that last picture, though...

DOH! got the Valley confused there and Yes, Torumekia is a miltiary empire.

No idea mate, I thought I'd given some hints there...

That's OK Brian, I shall allow someone else the opportunity to have a go.

Gotta be off soon, bye for now...:)

I, Brian, it seems you've gotta promote this thread a bit better across the site. Either that, or give us the solution to that last one; this thread has stopped...

Well, no one seems to know the answer, and I'm not familiar enough with Morrison's work to even offer a guess - sadly I'm most familiar with his work on JLA rather than all the other cool stuff he's done. If Gollum has an inkling, speak now or be banned for a day out of spite! :p

So like what else is new?..:p

OK the character's name is Zenith who is a rock star unaware of his own superhero potential. The stories I believe do feature Cthulhu undertones, Brian can probably comment more about this aspect than me.

I'm having problems with graphics, nothing to do with your wonderful forum, so please post the next one JP if you wish...:)

I'm working on the assumption that Gollum is right (and at least the graphics problems explain your uncharacteristic reticence so far!!!), so I shall weigh in with another picture for all you little boys and girls out there in interweb-land to identify:

As usual, right-clicking is a strict no-no , and whoever correctly identifies this character gets to take the next turn!

Well putting aside my graphics experiments for the moment I don't know this little fella but I'll start the ball rolling by going for the obvious: Little Devil ?

Close but no cigar!!! A pitchfork in the derriere for the young man!!!:D
Ouch, stop getting me all excited will ya!...:p

HMMM..close hey? How about Horny Devil on account of those budding protrusions of course....:D

Nope. This is a kiddy character, you libertine!!! :D
Coming from the Spliff King I am doubly shocked you would infer such a thing......:D

OK gotta skedaddle before I begin breaching any more social guidelines. Back to the land of pixels for me...

Bye all and take care...
