Try on the dot. You are correct. I have always liked Jonah Hex because he seems to be such an unlikely addition to the DC superhero universe even though he has met up with super staples such as Wonder Woman and Superman.

I was first introduced to him through a "Best of the Year" DC Digest from, if I remember correctly, the mid '80s.

HERE is a link to an online profile of Jonah Hex if anyone is interested to learn more about this character. The co-creator, John Albano, died in May of this year. Rest in Peace, maverick.

Well if you insist but this will be my final entry for 2005, so I'll make it fairly easy so other members can have a go at posting some fav toons of their choice...

Hint #1: Look to the DC universe.

He's a Batman villain, yeah? I think I've seen him in a cartoon. I'll be damned if I know his name though...

Hint #2: By way of Green's comment he's certainly a nemesis of Batman.

Well, I have very little idea of his name, so I'm just gonna go with "Phantasm", cos there's a Batman cartoon/film called mask of the phantasm which I might have seen bits of.

And this guy's wearing a mask

Yeah, I know, crap effort.

The mask is relevant to this character though.

Okay, I was going to keep my mouth shut on this one, but the temptation is getting the better of me.

The character is Bane....the very person who broke Batman's back in the '90s "Knightfall" saga that attempted to capture the collectors' interest like the death and return of Superman storylines.

Take a wack at identifying the next DC character. Keep in mind you will need to state the name of the character, and not the one-time title he possessed.

No seriuosly you're right mate Bane is the correct character. I think I've got an idea of who that is but my lips are sealed....

It is the Green Lantern but it's not Alex Scott, it's Guy Gardner.

Guy Gardner is the correct answer. His trademark awful haircut is usually the give-away.

Speaking of giving away, Winter's Sorrow is handing the next character post to you even though his answer was the one I had in mind. Keep us guessing!
