good. ahem. now as to the clone situation, soft centred jack went out to fetch me some massage oils and is missing. i think bbj's been annoying him again. if anyone sees him cowering crying in a corner would you be so kind as to point him back home? i really ned to fit a leash/lead (whatever)

shall i send out my L&O NYPD detective muses to find him? they're really good at that kind of thing -- Detectives Leonard Briscoe and Michael Logan -- they've found other missing muses and such --- would you like me to get them on the case??

oh - and as payment -- make them dinner - that's all they ask --

he's done this before when one of my evil clones is a bit nasty, he goes and hides under a table crying softly until i can find him andf comfort him. that would be most appreciated and I'm sure i can cook dinner. you are, of course, invited around:rolly2:

Logan: Lennie, do you get the feeling that we've locked ourselves into an odd new job? Finding missing muses and clones? We're we homicide detectives not that long ago?

Briscoe: Stop whining, Mike. If we find this guy we get a meal out of it. Which is more than I can say for investigating dead people. Come on. We've got work to do.

Logan: Yeah, yeah. All right. <mumble mumble mumble> [Logan follows Briscoe outside and they begin the search for the missing Jack clone -- we'll keep you updated]


you'll have to excuse Mike - he's a little moody most times -- but he gets over it and does his job -----

Briscoe is Jerry Orbach and Logan is Chris Noth (Chris isn't on the show anymore, but he's a wonderful character to write - so moody and 'down to earth' i guess - he's wonderful - full o' character)

awwww -- the Detectives truly apologize --- they will return your clone as soon as they find him tho ---

any other helpful info i can give them? like what he was wearing? or does he have any distinguishing features? something that might make him stand out from the other Jack clones? (be very specific here - like charles dickens description)

he's pretty snivelly at the moment. not very sarcastic and usually sporting serveral plaster casts/slings/band aids as a result of whumoings. he cries at sad films and likes to help in any way he can. i think he had the apron on last.

Briscoe and Logan aren't clones - they're muses -- there's a difference -- the clones are more like slaves -- muses help write fanfic --- Briscoe and Logan are 2 of my Law & Order muses and they were only brought in b/c Skip's Jack went missing -- they're not here, they're off hunting the missing clone ---

actually --- Skip -- they found him -- snivelling in a corner w/ a box of tissues clutched under his casted arm --

Logan: "snivelling *******, get back over there." <pushes Jack clone toward Skip> "There you are ma'am. Hope he looks the same as when he left. Good day." <leaves w/ Briscoe>

RESOLUTION!! Missing Clone Found!! Returned to Owner!!


speaking of clones -- can i get an angry/pissed off Jack?? and an 'i was right' Jack??

(btw - last night's ep was a BLAST!! Best of the season so far!! not depressed - didn't have to go and try to locate Major Hottie eps!! was very pleased -- unlike last week)
