What Anime and Animation are you currently watching?

I'm sort of doing similar - going through the second season of the Ghost in the Shell series. Always prefered this one over the first, mostly as I get the feeling they got a slightly older age rating that better suits GITS rather than the first that was abit lighter in spirit (at least for the first half). Can't wait to see if they make any more - Solid State can't be the end!

Lol - that's the one, and yes, it's another relic. I can't believe they still play...:)

And OR: I preferred the second GITS series to the first, too, although I felt bad for Kuze in the end. Solid State Society was excellent, so I'm hoping there's still more to come, too!

True, but the whole Kuze arch actually really plays into the GITS movie very well - even though both at set in alternate timelines one gets the impression that the movie content and events would sit very nicly at the end of the GITS series - especaily as her character is becoming far more withdrawn into herself.
But the idea that Kuze might have slipped himself somehow into the net and preserved a part of himself would be something that might tip the major to follow and accept the programs offer in the movie (since a part of that self conscious program could indeed be partly Kuze)

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought of a possible link between Kuze and the Puppeteer/Puppet Master. And you're right: it could definitely be something that would influence the Major into accepting the offer of merging.

I didn't realise it until I reread the manga late last year, but the ending of the 2nd Gig is more or less exactly the same as the opening to the book. It's nice to see little touches like that.:)

Yah I did read that the anime series was more strongly based of the manga. Also whilst the first is a bit more tacky I do like that it helps to build into things as we get a glimps of the major as someone with some life to her rather than just the stern outer character that she develops into more and more.
And I must get hold of the manga at some point and add it to my to read pile!

Speaking of which: I've just started watching the first GitS series again. I really must get hold of the first two movies soon, too.

My all time favorite episode on the Twilight Zone, The After Hours.

Just watched episode 61 of FMA: Brotherhood. Thought there were only two more episodes left, but apparently there are three. It means I (and we!) have to wait even longer to experience the finale. :(

Re-watching the whole of Avatar: The Last Airbender. Its quality is beyond the conveyance skills of even the most verbose Chronies.

Ooh, I really want to get into Avatar. I've seen a few eps and I've really enjoyed them, but I always catch them out of context so I don't get a good idea of the whole storyline.

Pretty much every morning before I go to work I watch Ben 10: Alien Force. Don't judge me! It's all that's on! It's alright...

Okay, I secretly enjoy it.

I'm nine episodes into Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2. The first series was brilliant, and the second carries on the formula very well - I'm left constantly wondering how things will pan out.

And now I've finished Code Geass completely. :(

I thoroughly enjoyed both series, and would recommend them to all. If the talk about a third series being in the works is true, then I'll be very happy! :D

Ep. 63 of FMA: Brotherhood watched - everything is really drawing to an end now. I don't like it when things you've invested so much time into watching/reading ends. :(

I think I'll have to marathon the last few episodes when the series finally finishes next week.
