Creative rhyming

[Talysia]

...which it sniffed at, then tasted, then danced like a loon.

The bear then changed into a strange new form...

 

[The Ace]

A fluffy little kitten, cuddly and warm.
"If a magic ring you seek . . .

 

[Talysia]

Said the kitten, its voice a squeak,

"Then you should go to the Magic Store..."

 

[Pyan]

"They've rings, potions and books of lore!"

To the Magic Store, then, off he went..

 

[Talysia]

(Relying on his chequebook, as his money was spent)

He found the Magic Store in an old Cul de Sac...

 

[Pyan]

He opened the door and the bell went "Quack"


"Now that's odd" he thought, as he turned around...

 

[Talysia]

The kitten was gone, nowhere to be found.

So he shrugged and went into the strange seeming shop...

 

[Pyan]

Where things went "Crackle", and things went "pop",
Until he found the part marked "Things...

 

[Talysia]

...that reverse shape-changing, buy magic rings!

Special offer today, buy one and get a surprise!"

 

[Pyan]

I should get one of these, if I were wise!"
So off to the counter, with one in his hand..

 

[Talysia]

...He set it down and waited, feeling rather grand.

The shopkeeper appeared and said, "Ah, the special offer of the day!"

 

[Pyan]

"If you buy that one, it will show you the way

To a land where spices are totally free!

 

[Talysia]

"Really?" said the man. "Now that I must see!"

So he got out his chequebook and paid for the ring.

 

[Pyan]

And left the shop still clutching the thing.

(Change of meter!)


He went outside, held it up, and rubbed it with his hand..

 

[Talysia]

Took out the spice, tasted some and...

he waited for the spice to kick in...

but nothing happened so he threw it in the bin

and wondered why he was holding a ring...

 

[Moogle]

Suddenly from just behind him he heard a bell ding!

He turned around to recoil in fear,...

 

[ice.monkey]

cos it appeared that St. Nick was here...

and it wasn't even Christmas!

 

[Moogle]

He blinked once more and Santa was gone, replaced by a lass!

She whirled around in her red and white suit and smiled at him.

at which point his world started to dim...

and he realised the spice must be working...
