ADwD POV's.

Hey,
I know this is a long shot, but does anyone have a record of all the ADwD preview POV chapters that have been posted on the GRRM website? I mean like the actual postings, not summaries.
I would be really grateful.

There have only been two. Daenerys' first chapter and Tyrion's first chapter. That's it. He has read out at cons, however, (and there are summaries of) Daenerys' next two chapters, Tyrion's second chapter, Asha's first chapter, Jon's first two chapters and Davos' first chapter. That leaves Bran, Arya, the new POV and the returning POV without any spoiler chapters so far.
 
There's also a booklet with the first three Dany chapters available, though it's hard to find now (and it's labelled as an AFFC Preview, rather than ADWD).
 
I woke up this morning with this nagging issue of the "new POV" on my mind and thought, what if it's a character nobody ever would of expected to get a POV. GRRM is notorious for throwing some curve balls.

So, those who are out include:

To get back to my original point (and to keep speculating because at this point there's not much else to discuss - unless we want to discuss Brad and Angelina as Jaime and Cersei in the HBO series) may I suggest Shireen Baratheon as the new POV. What gave me the clue was that GRRM did spend some time on her character in ASOS and at the end of the preview Asha POV, Stannis' forces arrive at the battle (I assume Stannis is with them). Also, I am unsure as to whether Shireen is at the Wall or on Dragonstone. If she's on Dragonstone or travelling with her papa's army in the North, all the more reason for a POV to be hers. Then we may find out waht really happened to Loras. That's assuming Jon stays at the Wall and we continue to get the view from the Wall through him.

I just recieved my book AFFC and can't wait to read it/catch up with you all on the story lines!
I am kinda glad I waited so long as then I won't have as long a wait as most of you all will for the next book!!!:p

Oh, lol. Okay, thanks alot. I guess I've seen them both though. I'm not sure what gave me the idea that there were more.
Now I feel silly.

He brought his wife with him to eastwatch, no? I think he would then also bring his daughter, especially since he doubts he will holf Dragonstone for much longer.

I mean the Florent one, not his redhot bedpartner
 
I've only read Tyrion's chapter, where can i get hold of Dany's chapter?

And it'd be great if someone could post in a site with the summaries..

Edd, 'twas a stupid question to ask, i own a copy of AffC, i should've remembered that chapter was at the back, i've read it enough times.
 
TK, I must say that Shireen Baratheon is the dumbest suggestion so far... probably in the history of mankind!

What would she do? She does nothing but run around with Patchface. No one takes her seriously. They either humor her or ignore her... I doubt they even stop imporant conversations when she's around... They just... err, wait! She could easily hear the juiciest secrets of Melissandre, Stannis, Davos, Selyse, and the Florents!

Sorry to wreck this interesting theory but at Boskone last week GRRM confirmed that the new POV character is male. You can also rule out a lot of the names on the list from being in the wrong place (in the South) or on the wrong timeline (it could be Brynden after he flees from Riverrun, assuming he goes north or east, but since that happens near the end of AFFC he has nearly no time to appear in the events of ADWD).

The most likely candidates are: Quentyn Martell or Jorah Mormont. There is also the possibility of it being one of Quentyn's retainers or advisors, such as Cletus Yronwood or Maester Kedry, rather than Quentyn himself.
 
AHHH Shucks...

What about Loras? Would a Loras POV revealing that he was not really burned at Dragonstone and that he is heading to the Free Cities be the biggest shocker since...well since Doran revealed his plan.

Couldnt be Loras, as Wert posted right above ya, GRRM confirmed the new POV is male.....

I don't think it's Loras, mainly because reading a whole chapter from his emo POV would make the reader want to throttle him to death (nothing to do with him being gay, it's just that he's a prat).
