ADwD POV's.

Loras

It took Loras half the morning to decide what to wear, and in the end he wasn't even happy with his choice. I should have worn the green tabard with the paisley smocking, he thought to himself. I look positively dreamy in that...

What did he end up wearing?

Now, now boys, let's practice some of that tolerance of others (even if they are fictional characters). A Loras POV may reveal him as being some great mastermind player that nobody would of expected. Maybe he learned well from his grandmama...I know I'm stretching here but what else is there to discuss.

This is the perfect moment for me to advance my latest theory - Loras as the New Hound. Burned, betrayed, bitter and ripe to change alliegances! (OK, I know he is technically already allied to the Crown, but he's more loyal for his families sake, last we saw him) He doesn't have an evil brother (as far as we know) to resent, but his experiences could have driven him mad, mad enough to volunteer as Cersei's defender and then transfer his loyalties to her after she promises him personal revenge on the captives held - revenge for losing his beautiful, beautiful face.

And then, as they did to Barristan, Tommen can authorise Loras's release from the Kingsguard, and the Tyrells will be forced to reinstate him as the heir. His mother and father will die (mysteriously) and Loras will assume control of the House!

Ahh but what if there was a twin brother all along? Yes two gallant effeminite younger sons of Highgarden. One driven to be a master of the martial arts and the other driven to be a girl they each mastered their chosen goals in society training in seclusion while the other provided their presence.

But Martial Loras was badly burned and will turn bitter, especially towards pretty Loras. In the end it will be pretty Loras pitting his feminine wiles against butch burned Loras in a battle to the death......for the fate of Westeros.

I could be wrong though

AHHH Shucks...

What about Loras? Would a Loras POV revealing that he was not really burned at Dragonstone and that he is heading to the Free Cities be the biggest shocker since...well since Doran revealed his plan.

Since the fake 'Maege Mormont' POV chapter (where she revealed her cunning plans to usurp Robb), actually. :p

I'm a little confused - are you saying Margaery was born male? And is the pretty male...intriguing....poor Tommen.
Or, as your use of the word butch implies, Margaery and Loras are actually both females? ;) That would be cool! I'd like to see some more women on the battlefield, now that Brienne is out of action. First time the Kingsguard had a woman in its ranks, too.

Here endeth the discussion. SpikeTV.com got a quickie interview with George at ComiCon and recruited a fan from the audience to do it (the fact that said fan was a female and blonde may have helped). He named the new POV.

Quentyn Martell. We didn't see that one coming!

Having just watched the clip, I couldnt stop laughing when the woman's responce to his answer was "Really? Really!"

Well, yes now there is certainty and guys like me who have no clue most of the time (this can be confirmed by Mrs. TK) can stop speculating on who the new POV would be.

While I loved the POV's from Dorne in AFFC, especially Doran's, I hope his son's POV lives up to expectations or else I'll be pinning for the perspective of a little girl named Shireen or the scar tissue and golden locks of Loras...I'm sure it will as GRRM has yet to let me down (plus copious amounts of Tyrion would compensated anyways) :) .

Ah, TK, may i throw in a tiny bit of input......

The Martell's have been as quiet as Littlefinger in ACOK and he just happens to be in the Free Cities. With Arya blind it gives us a secondary scoop on both Dorne and Ms. Targaryen. Hehe, wheels within wheels.

Baelish is in the Free Cities? I thought he was in the Eyrie supplanting Robert with Harry the Heir.

LOL!

PS - I just learned that "LOL!" is too short of a message to be posted. I need to extend my post to at least seven characters to be valid.

Like being not wordy enough is a typical problem for Boaz......

Thats like saying Stannis needs to "find some discipline"

or Cersei needs to "get her bitch on"

or....well you get the idea...

So...Quentin Martell, great!

Lets hope he has some of the fire of his late uncle in him.
