Character Creation Chain

Lara Worthington

A brilliant mind, hidden under layer upon layer of eccentric personality. She has so many theories on how things work and how to make things work better, but she never gets past jotting things down on pieces of tatty paper, which then get left all over her office. She's also famous for her attractive appearance and bottle-blonde hair, but her personality makes it very difficult for anyone to get close.

Solomon Phipps

Solomon Phipps:

"Never you mind, boy, never you mind." Was what Solomon allways said to his young wards whenever they asked him a question. The keeper of an orphanage in the walled city of Brushnest, a city constantly under seige by goblins and ogres alike hated his lot in life. he could have been a banker, or a scribe, or anythign that didn't have him taking care of whiny little brats. plus, he was allways the one getting blamed for the thefts committed by the little mongrels. He was sure it was all the fault of that little lizardfolk child some stupid milkmaid had found outside the city walls and decided to 'adopt', but of course, the second the little monster was inside the walls, he'd been sent straight to solomon's hall. Damn that little... what was his name?

Jurkik

Lizard foundling of unknown parentage. At first, his contemporaries, all human, didn't quite know what to make of him, but his tendency to tolerate (and, when necessary, dispense) pain led to respect.

He now has a circle of friends and there is no bullying in the orphanage, but little Jurkik is still an unknown quantity.

Frederick Redbeard of Immerhausen

Frederick Redbeard of Immerhausen

Had grown up in the orphanage Brushnest as just plain Frederick Brown. However as he grew older he also grew a magnificent beard and on his move to Immerhausen was fondly referred to "Frederick Redbeard of Immerhausen."

Despite his harsh upbringing or perhaps because of it Frederick grew into a caring fellow, always helping others in need and although Frederick didn't have a lot to give materially, he had plenty of love and funny stories to go around.

Frederick worked hard, had many friends, was well respected and his life was almost complete, he just lacked that certain someone to share his home with. Many women would have been willing to marry Frederick but he was yet to find that certain someone special.

Lacy Strongstorm

Lacy Strongstorm

A woman who was as strong as her name implied. Everyone thought that she should go to the Olympics as a weightlifter, despite her small frame, but she was happy doing the job she loved - delivering beer to the various pubs in the area. Because of what she did, she was welcome in every pub in the region, and she started to collect stories from the patrons there, which gave her the idea for a book.

Valeria Tereschuk

Valeria Tereschuk

was looking forward to her forthcoming 21st brithday. She had a full weekend of celebrations organised.

Friday night was just her and close girfriends out on the town, dancing and drinking.
Saturday was lunch with the family followed by a massive party in the local hall, she had even hired a DJ and her aunts, who were professional chefs, were doing the catering.

Everything was perfectly planned except that she hadn't counted in tripping down the stairs at work Friday morning and spent all day at the hospital having X Rays and having her leg covered in plaster from toes to knee.

This was no way to celebrate her birthday, she placed an urgent call to the only person who might be able to help her..................

Rodney Bourke

Rodney Bourke

Rodney was the kind of man that everyone wanted to know but no-one wanted to be. He was a thoroughly undependable person, notorious for his womanizing tendencies, and often skipping from one relationship to another, charming women in order to get free meals and fun. There was one instance where he thought he had actually made a connection with one of his "conquests", a woman whom he could not get out of his head. When she called up out of the blue, he hesitated. Did she actually want something more than he could give - like commitment? He almost didn't return her call.

Tony Jackson

Tony Jackson was the most annoying person you could ever meet. He had it all - money, looks, smarts, wit, charm and was good at everything he turned his hand to. In fact, the whole nation gave a collective sigh of relief when he accidentally slit his own wrists whilst shaving (although no-one would admit it).

Chuck Schneider

Chuck Schneider

Chuck had had a busy day, he was tired and looking forward to just sitting in front of the tv and relaxing.

However just as he was about to put the key in the door and go inside, his neighbour old Emilie Johnson called out over the fence for him to help, yet again.

She was always asking to do one thing or another and usually he didn't mind helping out but today he was just to tired, so rushing inside Chuck chose to ignore her.

He turned the tv up loud hoping to drown out her persistent knocking. Eventually she stopped and Chuck settled down for a quiet night.

What he didn't know was that Mrs Emilie Johnson had wanted to introduce Chuck to her beautiful young, single grand daughter:

Samantha Johnson

Samantha Johnson

Samantha was extraordinarily attractive. Her face exhibited feline properties, resulting in an alluringly strange beauty. Her eyes were wide and inviting and of a blue as deep as the sky at dusk. Not one for layers of makeup, her features were emphasized by the application of eyeliner drawing further attention to her striking eyes.

Sadly she remained single due to her immense nervousness, which had caused her to develop serious issues at building relationships. She was one for making excuses, often dragging herself away from her pushy grandmothers attempts at securing her a husband.

Bob Boar

Bob Boar

Actually Bob should have been called Bob the Boar, because that's exactly what Bob was. A rather large overweight boar who lived in Mrs Emilie Johnson's backyard. He sloshed around most days waiting for scraps either from Emilie or Samantha and occasionally Chuck would throw something nice over the fence to him.

Bob lead a good life for a boar, he had plenty of food, rather to much in fact, a nice dry pen and plenty of hugs from Emilie who had had him since he was just a little piglet. Nothing in his life had prepared him for the changes that were to come at the hands of

Vincent Von Stanley 1V

Vincent Von Stanley IV

Vincent was tall and gangly, with watery eyes and slightly bow legs. He had slightly crossed eyes and the bad habit of scratching his elbows when he was annoy.

Vincent had never liked boars, ever since his father, Vincent Von Stanley III, hadn't let him eat a whole one himself. This went to explain why he hated Bob Boar

Lukas Ayden Michael Everett

Lukas Ayden Michael Everett

Lukas was a regular schoolboy, with all the same angsts and problems as any other teenage boy (he especially hated his initials). However, he had an additional problem to deal with - his family. No other boy in the neighbourhood had a family like Lukas. His father was a stage magician, and his mother was his 'glamorous assistant', and they were both quite famous. Being the son of a celebrity was a challenge in itself, far from the exciting lifestyle that everyone assumed he had. All he wanted to do was stay at home, practicing with his friends in their rock band, but his parents wanted him to travel with them, and also to learn the family secrets...

Melanie Mitchell

Melanie Mitchell
A slightly eccentric woman, she is known for the strays she collected and fed: Cats, dogs, children, and most recently, a young runaway named Lukas Ayden Michael Everett. She'd been a genius as a girl, but something happened on her sixteenth birthday, and she's never been quite the same since.

Things just became more strange a few days later when one of her cats decided to start talking English.

Verity Morinth

Verity Mornith

Is a psychiatrist of some repute. Melanie had waited some five months for her first appointment with Verity. She had thought it necessary after one of her cats had started talking to her.

Verity had listened with interest to Melanie's story and advised Melanie it would take many months of intensive therapy in order to help her see the realities of her life.

After a full afternoon of clients Verity headed of to the restaurant where she was meeting her fiance

Marcus Custer

Marcus Custer

Marcus led a pretty boring life. He had once worked as a clerk in a video store. However, on one particularly bad day he had lost his job, his house burnt down (unfortunately not taking the bills with it) and he got two tickets from the same cop.

However, these days he spend his days doing nothing by living off unemployment benefits. He finds it easier then actually working. Over this time he developed quite a thing for Verity when he saw her at the beach on a Saturday morning.

Dr Ranelle Alice Waters

A doctor of some skill in an old-fashioned county town, Ranelle knows just about everything about just about everyone. Nothing pleases her more than knowing - she doesn't have to tell anyone, but she loves to find things out. So much so, that she gives the local police a run for their money when a crime occurs.

Sir Graeme Falstaff

Sir Graeme Falstaff
An man in his mid-forties, he is laughingly called "Sir" Falstaff by the small town he lived in, as for some reason he is convinced that he was knighted at twenty by King Arthur. Although considered to be 'off his rocker', he is still viewed with affection by the other members of the town.

The explanation of insanity doesn't quite explain where he was between the ages of eighteen and twenty-two, where he mysteriously disappeared on midsummer's eve.

Professor Twick

Frightened by nothing except death,
The Professor knows that knowledge can better mankind.
He throws himself into networking a vast movement promoting respect for learning.
His great power cannot save the people closest to him from their human frailties.
He is not a tragic figure, but a flawed and slightly blind one.
