A plain, plump girl, she secretly hankers after the rôle of Juliet, but knows she'll never play her on stage - still, her dreams keep her in the theatre, and who knows? a miracle may happen one day........

Billy works in the kiosk inside the cinema. Its his job to fill the champagne glasses and hand them to patrons at the half time interval. Billy likes his uniform, it makes him look important and afterwards at the bar Billy stops at on the way home, well the girls seem to think he looks cute, at least thats what they tell him as he pays for their drinks.

Billy is taking acting lessons, he thinks one day he will be famous and also appear on stage in a leading role. Maybe one day it might happen, he has talent, he just needs a a chance to prove himself.

One of the most upper class members of the group, Felicity is a dressmaker by trade and therefore immediately took over the position of wardrobe assistant. Strident and fearless, she will not take no for an answer regarding her work, and everyone is more or less afraid of her cut-glass accented voice calling them back for putting unwanted creases in a suit or tearing something. Often acid tongued and sarcastic, Felicity has made a lot of enemies.

is a critic on the local newspaper. It's said that a good review from her is worth an extra 1000 bums on seats, so the producers are always very nice to her, in the hope of improving ticket sales.
However, Cecilia is incorruptible - she always writes what she thinks about a new play or show. What the producers don't know is that she has a large private income, and is unbribeable...

They have always remained on good terms, friends in fact. However now that Gamaliel has found a new love, maybe things will be a little different.

The exact opposite of his name, Tyrone is a strapping lad, some 6ft tall, handsome and bright. Yet bright as Tyrone is he also lacks motivation and has no inclination to learn anything, he prefers to play football rather than finish his homework and in class daydreams about playing football professionally rather than completing school work.

Unfortunatly for Tyrone though his football days are about to come to an end after a serious accident leaves him with two broken legs. With nothing else to do all day, Tyrone sets his mind to schoolwork with amazing results.

Lexie is a dancer, and a specialist in the more sultry of dances. Tall and slender, but with curves she's very proud of, Lexie works for a troupe of dancers who are training to dance in front of a very special audience. Her sense of rhythm and timingare the envy of the group, and she spends every moment practicing her moves, to the embarrassment or amusement of the people on the station as she waits for her train to take her to the dance studio.

Friends kindly call Giselle "plump and cuddly" but Giselle knows she is overweight, its not something she is happy about but since the loss of both her parents in a tragic accident and discovering her so called boyfriend was friends with more than just her, Giselle has found comfort in food.

As she watches the beautiful Lexie dancing, Giselle decides it time she did something with her life and got things back on track. She notices an add in the paper for weigh loss classes and decides to call the woman mentioned in the add:
