Cloud up to 5000 words. Slow start but I finally have a chapter outline for the first part, so things should speed up a little now.

Cloud is just short of 10,000 words now, and starting to have some sort of shape. I think I may have found a solution for all the backstory info dumping I need to do, but have to play around with it for a while first.

Also, have discovered that the story might be "biopunk" which sounds a lot grander than "sciency-type YA thingy".

Finished this one. About 980 something words in the end. Just five more stories to do and I can relax about that one.

Started a new short for something else today. Got a minimum of 3.5k to write. I sat down and wrote 1192 in one go! That's amazing for me.

I, Singularity is now 89,747 words. Our Hero is discovering that military people threaten to shoot super heroes who don't have permission to enter restricted airspace. Unless they're distracted by a meteor hitting a spaceplane...

The Many, 58k with more editing and chopping too. Lots more work to do and with a very difficult plot, but that is the challenge I guess and maybe even the fun - I say hopefully!

Wrote 1,092 words today (that's a lie, I did 33 of those yesterday) and finished story number 10. So, two more to go and then... No more commissions. Ever, ever again. (Well, technically I have 8 still to do for somewhere else, but they come in every now and then).

670 words written today of the final HoW story. Could've finished it but I've been a bit distracted.

Up to 1328 in my current short story i'm working on. This one has a nice horror touch to it which seems to be the direction my brain has been taking me. Who would've know?

Not a lot of progress since my last word count post, just 60k for my Many now. It's not so easy to write when a builder has ripped out my old kitchen and turned my home into a building site. Move the odd wall, rip up a floor and put a ceiling back. It may be some while before I get going again. Grrrr - dust!

After a rethink and rewrite, i am now at 3119 words with Aurean Legacy, first draft. Still counting, so far.
