Why say Tyrion's a Targ?

I agree with the earlier posts, suggesting that it is Jon Snow who is the Targ. How can you miss Prince Rhaegar Targaryen crowning Lyanna Stark Queen of Love and Beauty and abducting her, followed by the timing of the battle of the Tower of Joy, Lyanna's death in a pool of blood, and the promise Eddard made to her, and kept until his death. IF Jon Snow is Lyanna's child, his Stark features are explained, as well as his Targaryen traits.

Not sure if Tyrion is a Targ but he may be a Car.....

I saw a car today with a licence plate IMP. It was a red Holden. (For those of you not in Australia the Holden badge is a lion). Red for Lannister, Holden lion - Lannister Lion, IMP. Come on......... anybody??

I'm with you, ss. But is the Holden a compact? A mini? Recently I watched the two seasons of the dicontinued cop show Life. The cop's old partner is named John Stark and his new partner looks exactly how Arianne Martell should.

Imp, I grew up in the Midwest and South. To put it in Westerosian terms, I felt like Dornishman... always looked down upon by those King's Landers, Lannisters, and Highgarden pansies.

In all honesty, I'm tired of guessing. I'm all out of new ideas. Every time I come up with a new idea, TK-421 links where that was discussed back in 2005! My brain is turning to mush trying to figure out ?+?=J, Howland Reed, Varys, Middlefinger's motivations, Melisandre, the kindly Old Man, Loras' whereabouts, the identity of Aurane Waters, the Valonqar, TPTWP, AA Reborn, Jeyne Westerling, Brienne's predicament, Darkstar, Stoneheart, the location of the Blackfish, Robb's declared heir, Rickon, Gendry, Edric Storm, Daario, Davos' health, Quentyn, Jaqen, fake Pate, Griff, Young Griff, FrankenGregor, Myrcella, Arianne's traitor, Orell the Warg, the Dragon's three heads, Dany's fertility, Tyrion's destination, Margaery's virginity, Alayne's future, Barristan's knowledge of Lyanna, and what Jaime is going to do. I can't keep all the theories straight anymore. I almost had a nervous breakdown last year trying to come up with a Unified Theory of Ice and Fire.

I need new and solid information from Mr. Martin.

Boaz, Jaeme Targaryen is new to me.

it's been so long that I only remember the main characters. Plus, I totally cheated with the last books and skipped over the chapters involving all the new characters (like Arianna). I know I was missing huge plots, but I became too impatient.

It there some kind of ASOIAF Cliff's Notes somewhere? I need to catch up before ADWD comes out. We all know it's coming soon...

Books ~ Tower of the Hand

DeBe, good to see you! Looks like your avatar is all ready for Easter. By the way, a coworker read most of AFFC by reading the chapter summaries... and then was so inspired by the POVs that did not originally grab his interest that he went back and actually read the book.

Oh, Jaeme Targaryen is just another ridiculous idea of mine. If Jaeme is true, then Caersaei Targaryen must also be true... and both are about as likely as Tyraen Targaryen.

Interesting theory but a I doubt it....from what I read Joanna spent what most of not all of her time at the Rock raising the twins while Tywin was the hand and Tyrion's condition can be explain in many scientific ways but one that probably had the most if at all to do with it was...inbreeding...Tywin and Joanna Lannister were cousins((she was Stafford Lannister's sister)whether once or twice removed I can not remember)....his "evil" was always described as black by all not like Darkstar whose eyes where described to be dark purple...why Tywin mistreats his son is relatively simple...Tywin's love of his life died giving birth to Tyrion and he was in my opinion a perfectionist and obviously Tyrion's appearance was far from what Tywin expected to come from his loins. It's just simple pure loathing....The whole Dragon fascination was a child's fancy thats it...him using fire to defend KL was one not his idea originally(Cersei had already ordered them from the start) just continued the planning and making the process better and getting more jars and the soldiers prepared for the task....besides if you were in charge of the defense of KL or any city for that matter, outnumbered, and you had tons of Greek Fire/Wildfire lying around I would think stopping my enemies rather then having a fascination for fire would prompt its use. Just my two cents.

Hune182, welcome! Of course the logics for your explanations are sound. But I refuse to believe them.

All through the first three rounds of ASOIAF, I grew accustomed to Martin's constant jabs that I always failed to see the haymaker coming. He floored me a few times and I've sworn that he won't do that again. So I ignore the incessant jabs and five punch combinations... I swear I'll see the next big right hand coming... even if I have to throw my face to his fist.

LOL Boaz!

Welcome to the forums Hune182. I agree completely with everything you've said, but we do enjoy a bit of speculating on these boards (the crazier the better!) It's good form to throw out a loony theory now and then, and stand back and watch it be dissected by everyone else. So, if you have any wild theories, please do share!

Mel's a mother alright. She has birthed at least one night black ******* already.

Is this theory now debunked with Tyrion being burned by the candle Shae holds against his arm in the show?!! I don't think the producers like your theory Boaz.

I don't know what to say, Bazza. Shae's a foreigner in the show. She has the Targaryen AE in her name and she claims to withstand fire better than Tyrion... Mayhaps she's the Targ!

Why not a descendant of a lesser ******* of the unworthy.
What's the colour of her eyes?
