Least Favorite Characters

*cackles* Oh I wasn't joking. I always end up supporting the bad ones...I'm a firm Voldemort follower, me. I just can't see the wrong in her other people see, I see too much of myself in her...(i see you all back away in disgust :D ).

As for being stupid, I don't think that's the right word. After all, she's a woman, woman are jealous and bitchy, she can't help that, and so obviously it would leak into the poitical side of it all, and you may say she shouldn't be trying if its going to affect her so much but she had a nice little thing going for a while, she just put her foot in it when talking to the High Septon...

Poor dear. I know she'll die, I'm coming to terms with that, thoguh it hurts me deeply. :(

Now let me count... she's loved Jaime, Lancel, at least two of the Kettleblacks, Taena Merryweather, and Moon Boy for all we know.
*claps* oh ha ha... veeeeeery witty...

Yes, she is sad, but interesting. She adds an added zest to the books by her actions. They wouldn't be nearly as engrossing if she were not there.

On the other hand. She doesn't have to be cruel and manipulative. She has to take some responsibility for her actions.
I dont know if sad is the correct word maybe pathetic but damn if it wasnt for her chapters in Feast it would have been a lot less interesting book in fact I love reading the Cersei chapters they're a hoot.

but im not going to discuss it again, cos i have done SO many times. but i like cersi.

And fair enough, too. I was only trying to be light, didn't mean to get you lightly toasted (not quite flamed...). We are, after all, an equal opportunity forum - we are free to like who we want to like....

I think you are all giving her too much credit. She's an idiot and cannot rule a hill of beans. She made bad alliances, re-armed the Faith, weakened Tommen, allienated her only true ally (Jaime), confided in someone she should not have, did not have any foresight, tought she was in the same league as Tywin or Tyrion, let her anger overule her judgement and logic...I could go on. Yeah, she's fun to read but with so many enemies cannot really last much longer. Tyrion will give her what's coming from the back of a dragon.

But she's not though, not only does she have highly unattractive personality, but, as is mentioned in AFFC, she's always putting on weight and loosing her looks. The days of Cersei being able to sleep her way into and out of trouble are numbered. :)

She played Robert Baratheon and Ned Stark like fiddles. The reason she thinks she is a major player is that she did both of them in. But now we know that neither of them were good players. In fact, Robert's charisma, Ned's resolve, and both of their needs for vengeance upon the Targaryens swept them into power and kept them there for fifteen years. Robert and Ned make Cersei look like Machiavelli or should I say she makes them look like Dumb and Dumber.

But compared to her father, her brother, her uncle, Baelish, Varys, and the Queen of Thorns, Cersei is indeed "an idiot and cannot rule a hill of beans."

Too much of:
  • Quails drowned in butter
  • Sweetcorn fritters
  • Roast Heron
  • Cheese and Onion Pies
  • Iced Blueberries with Sweet Cream]
  • All washed down with Wine, Wine and Wine
Doesn't help the waistline and I didn't notice her jogging 10km through the streets of King's Landing;)

you don't know what she does in the middle of the night when everyone's asleep...

she won't lose her looks...it was lieeeeees!!!! :p she'll always be sexy, mean people are like that

she must really hate lyanna stark though, Rhaegar fell in love with lyanna, and not with her, Robert loves lyanna as well, wich ended all potentials of it becoming a good marriage in the very first night, at least she still loves herself, wich is probably why she started sleeping with Jaime cause its like looking in a mirror.

The only reason why she still is alive is because she is ruthless, and thus she does not follow the same rules as other humans, you can never tell what someone without a conscience might do next and that is what she has become basically. I mean if ned was as ruthless as her, he could have easily confined her instead of calling her to the godswood.

I hope the premonition comes true and all her children die horiible, loved Joffrey's painful death, love the fact that Myrcella is mutilated and cannot wait to see her getting killed , as for Tommen, lets hppe he gets killed before cersei gets it, a good nice chopping of the head in front of her, just for the fact that he is a dimwitted incestuous ******* whom is 1 of the three reasons why civil war erupted.

Harsh, man, harsh words...dude, have some sympathy!!!! Made to marry, slightly happy and naive at the thought of handsome Robert, having just got over not being able to marry pretty silvery Rhaegar, then being practically raped by a sweaty drunkard whispering another girl's name. Great stuff that.

Actually I agree about the kids. I don't like kids.

I like kids, but then again i am still like a kid myself, i have some sympathy for Tommen, but the rest of the Lannister bunch must die.

KiwiBird, I'm sure you'll get your wish. I don't see many of the characters living through this series. We might as well say goodbye to our favorites now, cause the odds (and GM's subconscious) are against them.

And QC, I dig your passion for the controversial characters, but I can't wait for Cersei's death. And Jamie's going to finish her, not the dwarf like she believes. I love the irony.

by shoving his stomp wich she abhorres down her throat

But first he breaks off his golden hand against her ice-cold face with a well deserved backhand!
...
We may have issues...

The favorite characters are the ones you love to hate. GW did great work with her...

Hey, wouldn't it have been cool if Ned took her up on the offer she made him in the Godswood, and then turned around and ratted her out the Robert anyway? (yes, I know, it would have been out of character for him...but it would still have been cool-).

you sound like my brother...loving to hate cersei and all that...

and i knew as soon as i read the bit about the prophecy and the brother killing her, etc that it would be jaime. just too ironic not to be him...such a shame, i'm not ready to say goodbye to her yet. i'll have to cope with my other seven favourites.

but i hope margaery gets a slow and painful death too.
