re: Discussing the Writing Challenges -- July & August

'Cheating' might be a bit misleading. I just had some technological assistance.

Yes, that's what I did, too.

Obviously, other people are on the right track, but the message isn't one they are expecting, which makes it harder. (Although once seen, it makes perfect sense.)

I propose that Mouse gets a slap on the wrist every time she runs down her intelligence.

And 43 stories this month (so far)! After the voting fell short last month, I feared we had lost our momentum. I am so happy to be proven wrong.

Until she learns her lesson, she would, Karn. But she is very bright, and it shouldn't take long.

re: Discussing the Writing Challenges -- July & August

Ha! The Goblin Princess informed the ragged Parson about how cheating was done, and viola! I got it.

Mouse, I'm going to say it again. You are not merely clever but brilliant. I shudder each time I read "Most Dense" by your avatar. --- I just looked to see that you are now "Dog Tired, which though not pleasant has the distinct possibility of being true. While the other was as false as Satan saying "I always tell the truth."

re: Discussing the Writing Challenges -- July & August

.... But what?

(Speculation: Neither does Satan always lie. ----- The Biblical witness would suggest that his best things are twisting the meaning of the truth.)

re: Discussing the Writing Challenges -- July & August

Woe is me, for I get the hidden meaning not.

On the other hand, I do get points for sounding oldtimey. I wonder where I accumulate these points and what exactly I'm supposed to do with them?

re: Discussing the Writing Challenges -- July & August

I hear that if we reach 50 stories, Culwhch has promised to fly us all to Brisbane for a bit of a party! Woo!

re: Discussing the Writing Challenges -- July & August

You better not DA! I heard if someone posts a story under an alias Cul's going to fly us all to the Netherworld, where he will employ demons to torture us by reading Stephanie Meyer until our ears bleed. Or something.

re: Discussing the Writing Challenges -- July & August

Well that'll be a blessed relief after the trip to the Netherlands.

(only joking - honest)

re: Discussing the Writing Challenges -- July & August

Since DA writes like Stephanie Meyer anyway (as he said in another thread) his seven stories would put us there already.

 But my wrists are already puppy chewed!

Pending access to Brian's expense account, yes.

But that would be punishing myself as well!
