Re: Discussion July 75 Word Writing Challenge

And of course, I'd like to see you enter... but I'll let Parson do the Badgering.

There's always the story of the Badger, The Mouse and the Robot Snow White...

Re: Discussion July 75 Word Writing Challenge

I don't know what it would look like, only that it would be able to spin. Otherwise, well, what would be the point?

Also, I shall be entering. Bit of a sci-fi fan so why the heck not?

Dammit, do you have to?* New writers are always soooo good... fresh style, fresh ideas, fresh result...

* Yes, you do, or you get badgered/hounded. Strange how we use animals to express our ideas, isn't it. I'm feeling a little hawkish, can you tell?

Re: Discussion July 75 Word Writing Challenge

I suppose I could do a story about a robot with a Posidriv brain, a robot who seems to have been designed to screw things up....

Re: Discussion July 75 Word Writing Challenge

Well I have to make up for missing last months challenge so I need to figure out how to step up my own entry.

Hmmm I do love Chaucer. . . wonder if I could do a blend of Chaucer and Bender.

The Pilgrimage to Canterbury as seen through the ocular scanners of a beer swilling, anti-meatbag, crude and sarcastic bending unit who just happens to be along by happenstance due to some idiot throwing an aluminum popcorn container in the microwave causing a time vortex in 75 words or less.

Or perhaps he's been sent back in time to get rid of him.

In which case, you could call your story: Can To Bury Tale.

Re: Discussion July 75 Word Writing Challenge

I am number 1! Which will be my doom no doubt.

I have had a hectic month and July won't be much better. I missed last month, which saddens me, but with the 300 this month I wanted to make sure that I gave the longer competition as much time as I could afford.

Re: Discussion July 75 Word Writing Challenge

I'm positive it would be Battery Park, where they'd each recite an ode.

Re: Discussion July 75 Word Writing Challenge

If it's a reversible one. Possibly. (But that's not the primary consideration. And what if they run off...?)

Re: Discussion July 75 Word Writing Challenge

Well that would be a situation charged with negative consequences.
Someone would need to keep an ion it.

Re: Discussion July 75 Word Writing Challenge

Come on Chronners, we need to rally against these terrible puns! Up and atom!

Re: Discussion July 75 Word Writing Challenge

All these puns have me welded to my seat.

Re: Discussion July 75 Word Writing Challenge

Are you suggesting that it isn't riveting...?
