Perp, Starbeast and Moonbat, thankyou for the mentions. Really interesting month for votes, looks like the difficult choice was across the board, the standard was so high, but go go TSP, intersteallar relationships ahoy!

My short list:

Azzagorn When the colour dies
Stormfeather Believe in magic or your dreams

My shorter list

I don't have time to run down my entire shortlist, but it came down to:

For Display Purposes Only -- The Spurring Platty

and

Detective Roy G Biv vs the Rainbow Gang -- TacticalLoco

Both were brilliant stories, whose final line emitted a vocal response. What swung it was that TacticalLoco's made me groan with pun related pain, whilst TSPs provoked a belly laugh, so congrats TSP you have another vote :)

Many thanks for the short lists, and was chuffed to bits to actually get a vote. Thanks Anivid :D

...Must go before the beast of bottle-me more awakens.

WoW! more mentions! Thank you, Brev. Starbeast, Parson, anvid, Glen, MemoryTale (I'm stunned.)

It been only a year and a half since I began writing stories at all. I had no idea how my prose would be received. I can not tell you how much the support of Chonos and it's fine members has done to encourage me and keep me focused.

Thankyou to everyone who mentioned, short-listed or voted for me this month; I appreciate it more than you know.

Clear winner for me this month is Ursa - made me laugh out loud!

Thanks again to everyone for the mentions and short lists. I really appreciate it. Great work everyone.

My runners up were Luiglin, PM, PM, Alex G&T, and TSP.

TSP came a close second, but in the end, because its ability to make me grin like a loon never wore off, my vote went to Hex's 1930s handwavium public information film, or whatever the deuce it was.

Thanks to those who listed mine, and Alc and Mosaix for the votes.

My thanks to High Eight and Moonbat...I've been stuck indoors at work all day watching people outside enjoying the lovely sunshine, so was feeling a little grumpy, but those mentions cheered me up. :)

Arrrrrgh , It's too hard, they're all so good, and I'm running out of time...

The old hippie in me likes Gary's Chakras
T Loco's pun is nicely done
GrizzGreen... Yuk, indeed, but well presented (grrrge)
I love Starbeast's concept that the only reason aliens would visit earth would be as a honeymoon spectacle.

I am sometimes known as "The Electrician, or Someone Like Him"; so, my inner "Sparky" votes for Memory Tale.

Thanks for the short-listing, Hare Brain!
