There were so many brilliant stories this month that I really struggled choosing one.
To invidiously pick a few from the many I loved, I especially enjoyed:
Glitch's wonderful space mermaid
alchemist's adventurers in hyperbole city
HareBrain's victory (makes me laugh every time)
johnnyjet's super-sinister Dad
TDZ's horrible horrible (did I mention horrible?) and brilliant story of colours in an over-populated world (shudder)
High Eight's lovely story of hope
MemoryTale's excellent bomb disposal
and Vertigo's wonderfully poetic description of worlds ('the lurid spectrums of gas giant storms' has to be one of my favourite phrases from all the 75 word challenges).
Many others too -- but if I listed all the ones I loved (have to mention Aun Doorback's, mosaix's, Cul's -- okay -- going to stop now) I'd be here all night.
I voted for springs' because it makes me go teary every time. And when I first read it, I thought it was perfect and I still do.
And: thank you so much for the vote, HareBrain
