Well I will wear a badge to the newbie section then!
A secret symbol badge or a cut out version of this websites logo?
Well I will wear a badge to the newbie section then!
I look like my avatar, so will be easy to spot.
There were rumblings of a Chrons get-together on the Saturday evening. How about somebody who lives closer than five hundred miles suggests a venue? Like a pub or something?
Like a pub or something?
Or we'll suggest the nearest Irish theme bar?
And who's on which panel. No doubt the programme will contain all that.
Not that I can see.
Nah, I mean the one we're handed when we check in.
And, ooh -- puzzles to solve. What could "Difficult to Digest" possibly be about?
The coffee and Biscuits in the KaffeeKlatsches?
Indeed I will. It's a pictothing. Or something. Also it moves. I was nearly sick on my keyboard. The following website offers and interesting map of the area. Although I think Hex might complain about me calling it a map
Me too. Can I sit beside you?how far can YA go
-- I know! But it's on at the same time as Holly Black is reading which is BIZARRE given how much she writes about the fae -- Spiderwick Chronicles, Tithe etc. GAH!nifty shades of fae sounds intriguing
BUT! Here is a handy little map showing all the pubs around the hotel. It doesn't have much info on the pubs sadly, but if we pick one and take a google-gander....

Strange maps you Englishers have. No pub info, you say? Google sounds like a plan, though.
So, tick tick tick and my two days are filled.
For me I like the look lf how far can YA go, for the next time I scratch my head wondering what I'm writing, I like the judge a book by its cover to give insights into cover are, nifty shades of fae sounds intriguing, and when the fairies come out to play. Mostly tying into Waters, though, so I might find a good sci fi one to attend to break up the fantasy.
Looks good.
I don't see the KaffeKlatsches on there - hope they don't clash with too much. A screenwriter friend of mine went to a big shindig and they videod the main ones and posted them online, so you could go to other talks, and catch the main event at your lesisure. You miss the atmosphere, but not the words of wisdom...
I went a bit mad on the Kaffeeklatsches, securing Michael Marshall Smith, Ellen Datlow, F. Paul Wilson, as well as TOR, Harper Collins USA and PS Publishing. The only one I didn't get was Joe Hill, but that was somewhat foreseeable.
The rest of the schedule looks good: not many dud hours that I can see. I'm torn between the M. R. James double-bill on Saturday night and a ruddy good lash-up in Brighton. Anyone?
