pH - You made me laugh! Quite a gas (non-flammable, hopefully) to be mentioned in any context!;)

Don't think anybody was offended. What you must remember is that my mind is as pure as the driven snow and everybody here knows it. ;)

*ahem*
You know, I remember a Mae West quote similar to that.

'I was pure as the driven snow...then I drifted.' :p

Seems my attempt at humour was mis-pitched when I mentioned some chronners' names. I apologise if anyone took it seriously. I guess I should not attempt humour when Mercury is retrograde.

The key word was 'randomly' ;)

Awww :(

I quite liked the idea of being a malign influence.

Boy oh boy. After watching a particular movie tonight, I've come up with a nice little piece that would work very well for a challenge entry, but not this month's. :p Bah. Well, I'll keep it anyway in hopes that it'll land a lucky bite on a theme.

Robin Hood-as played by Anonymous?
James Bond in the privy cabinet?
Alice in Tuderland?

*privy cabnet door rattles* can someone let me out? I think I got my idea back...

Aun – And the envoy arrives bringing anarchy to the unit... errr England. Irreverent, funny and spot on. If only history were more like this it would be a lot more fun. I particularly liked the head butt at the end it just finished the whole thing nicely. A great read on a Friday morning

Mr. Invisible - A brilliant entry that plays perfectly with theme and genre in a totally unexpected way. Angry Birds translated into what could only be a chaotic and fun to watch game. I think the image it pulled into my mind was stupendous. Loved it.

Scott, sorry I missed it, even more so because it was such a great entry.

Struggled with this one, since I know nothing of Tudorpunk... Does it exist?

Can I suggest, that in keeping with the brevity of the challenge, that future titles be restricted to one word? That way, the winner is challenged even further - serves them right for winning, says I...

And I hope I'll be able to vote in this one - off to China on the 24th for two weeks, so I'll rely on a hotel internet to do it. Can I have a proxy vote, just in case?:)

I like that one Boneman.

For anyone put off by the genre, don't be. Many of the entries posted aren't in the Tudor period, so don't be worried that you're not a budding historian because guess what, many of those voting won't be either. As there isn't an official definition of the genre, then there's plenty of ambiguity to work with.

So, Harebrain, 29 entries, 5 days to go... what have you done to everyone?

With no firm ideas yet myself, I'm starting to wonder.

I'm appalled Chopper hasn't turned up and entered, or at least begged our forgiveness, given that it's largely his fault (possibly) I was convinced the genre existed in the first place.

The thing is, though, the genre does now exist. We have all participated in a wondrous act of pushing fantasy to new horizons of classification, and thus there is no reason for me to be hunted down and killed.
