Thanks Perp - I really appreciate your reviews and your encouragement. Sometimes I think you are a little hard on PM though, give him a break, not only is he talented, he's an awesome guy ;)

Springs - Dragons, Bailiffs, a Pheonix and beautiful lights and colors from the flames!
You are definitely TudorPunk (now me - meh) :D

Sadly, i would love to take the credit... I fed shakespere tequilla slammers, kylara, she of the other dark female avatar, did the fab dragons. :D

Karn, Karn, Karn... don't make me feel worse than I already do :D I had a couple of nice ideas. Clean. Tasteful. But they were too involved.

Anyway, they made me do it! *points randomly to Starbeast, Stormcrow, Alc, PM, Hex and Mouse*

Thanks for the review, Perp.

I ''borrowed'' a few of DOE's zombies for the 75 challange, but I seem to have lost some. So if you see a few zombies about give me a shout, I have my RAY GUN ready. If you're really stuck just run into a KFC, that usually slows them down - don't ask, it's a long story...

StilLearning – This was just pure chaos and anarchy playing with history, perhaps in some ways everything punk is supposed to be. It was like a barrage of sound that just kept hitting you in the face with new information, history re-written in a glare of blockbuster crassness. Pure brilliance.

Chris – The Spanish Armada transformed into a faux Shakespeare piece. In fact I think Chris must have lifted it from somewhere, a forgotten folder hidden away or something ;) I thought ti was spot on, carrying more facts the more you look at it, slightly alternative history. Next time I stand looking out over the Sound, I’ll think of this and grin.

DEO – How could you not love a little story like this, surely a desire in the heart of everyone that has sat through Shakespeare at school, let alone someone who has been forced to dress as Juliet... of course the ramifications of taking old Will out of history might be slightly more dramatic... (Loved the idea of the chariot races!)

Kylara –a little bit of misdirection and a dragon becomes nothing more than a construction of a dragon, but the description of it ‘breathing’ fire and the results of the fire were nothing short of inspired. Once again one of our writers manages to get so much out of so little, a whole little world encapsulated in 75 words.

Phyrebrat – You know, sometimes I read peoples comments on stories before I read the story and there is that odd occasion where the comments make me raise an eyebrow and rush to read the story just to see what is being talked about. And so it was with this story. Toilet humour centred around a King. The power of methane has never raised so many eyebrows – if it did not take them off in the initial burst of flatulence. Gets marks just because.

" 'snot fair! Wasn't me! I wasn't anywhere near him!"

* flicks ink pellet at phyrebrat *

If you've lost those zombies, Bowler, I'll have to deduct the cost from your deposit. A good necromancer charges an arm and a leg for a zombie. :)

Thanks for the review, Perp. :) As always, much to discuss -- too much always gets cut out to fit the word limit. But we'll talk about that after the voting is done.

I'm so sorry Springs and Kylara.
I'm an idiot sometimes, and certainly did not mean to confuse your two very different and talented styles.

This is a strange feeling, looking at the challenge at this point in the month and finding that there are no comments to write....

This is a bit tricky. I seem to have lost one or two of the original ‘borrowed’ zombies, I’ll hold my hands up to that. But since then I’ve sort of found more, quite a lot more in fact, they just keep popping up they do. They’re all dressed funny as well, ruff’s and cod pieces, what can I say. Anyway, as I have more, I’d like my deposit back and possibly try and turn a profit. The expression, ‘’being eaten out of house and home’’ really does apply to this lot, so I seem to be out of pocket. ;)

Loving these stories as always. I think we have a new class of fiction here.

Thanks to PM too. Your review is spot on.

Ha! if Al, thinks he's going to sneakily post his story while I am on top of things for the first time in ages....

Al – A stroke of humorous genius. A digital revenge for the ignominy of the defeat of the Spanish Armada. Just loved the language, and references that lead you right to an unexpected punchline – revenge for the sinking of 50 odd ships the deletion of a twitter account. And there are those that would find that two much. Loved the Black Adder inspired title too.

Am I setting myself for a story deluge over night?

Thank you muchly, Perp! I was quite pleased that the title snuck into my consciousness in time.

Eh?

(Next month, we want something on enemas. You've been warned!)

Captain! Captain!!

The enema is flushing our troops from the defensive positions they have established to block passage of . . .

what?

Oh, that's what an enema is.
I thought he just just had an interesting accent.

Never mind . . .

Seems my attempt at humour was mis-pitched when I mentioned some chronners' names. I apologise if anyone took it seriously. I guess I should not attempt humour when Mercury is retrograde.

The key word was 'randomly' ;)

Perp How remiss of me to neglect to thank you for another one of your reviews. Thank you very much :)

Don't think anybody was offended. What you must remember is that my mind is as pure as the driven snow and everybody here knows it. ;)

*ahem*
