flash fiction is when your imagination flashes someone right? and you wake up the next morning and think "aaa what did i do? what was i thinking? i could have done that much better" then you sigh and wrap your imagination in a freash trench coat and hope it behaves itself.

springs -- Fantasy that links the elements to something sensual.

ratsy -- Portal fantasy story involving a magic system and an older MC.

Phyrebrat -- Surreal horror.

hopewrites -- Fantasy heavy, with shapeshifters, maybe a shamanistic high adventure through an enchanted landscape. Or singing frogs.

Mouse -- Humorous sci fi, please. With robots.

stormcrow --'Lost Worlds' would be good! No restrictions.

Kylara -- Dungeons, dragons and a cross eyed newt.

Perpetual Man -- Something fantastical with children's toys and it has to be cheery.

Hex -- Something dark and fairytale-related.

TheDustyZebra -- Alternate universes, with flowers.

TacticalLoco -- Any story that takes place on a spaceship.

Let me know if I have made any foolish errors.

OK. I used an on-line random sequence generator to scramble the numbers from one to eleven and rejected those that gave anybody her or his own assignment. I then sent a private message to each participant with the assignment. I have also included my contact information.

It would be easy for me to make a mistake, so if you have not gotten a private message from me, or if you got more than one, or if you got your own request, let me know.

Let's call the end of September our deadline. If I get all the stories earlier than that (hint, hint) I'll let you all know.

When contacting me via the e-mail address I gave you, please include the screen name you use on this forum so I can tell who you are.

Let me know if anything comes up that will prevent you from completing your assignment. If possible, I will take the place of anyone who must drop out and try to take on her or his assignment myself.
