Discussion - 300 Word Challenge #11

i dont have the approved equipment for twerking. :(

im kicking around an idea or two. feeling very "out of shape" though. been working so hard at expanding on my WIP that i went tripple on the 75 i came up with about the time i thought "that should be close" so am a bit nervous to start a 300. but as i have time to fiddle with it I'm at least planning on it this time :)

..speaking of twerking: living very near the coast I thought I'd give it a try on the beach back in the summer; I pulled a mussel!

:D

<...back to thinking of a story...>

Am I on the right thread, the 300? Has Hopewrites been giving out too many chocolates?

My RAY GUNS worked a treat (two glasses of red wine) and I have my idea, a nice big lump of telling. I know the advice I've been giving out in the critique section, but I'm allowed, I'm special! Some polishing still needed, so I'll just rest here on this big black pot while I do.

I have one story idea with lots of rayguns. Still can't get the twerking, Walmart or a fairy van in. My powers are slipping, it's getting dark.

I know it sounds shellfish, but I'm hoarding my puns for my 300-word challenge entry.

I'm not so sure ...
someone's sure to winkle another one out!

Not a single entry yet, much to my surprise.

It looks like every one has clammed up!

It's true that the Challenge thread is closed for a few more days.

After that, we'll have to sea....

Gah! I looked at the picture, and now I'm going to have to write something...curse you 300 word challenge and your deceptively inspirational appeal...and I'd promised myself not to get distracted from the wip.
One errant click! It was only one errant click and now I've got an abundance of tree sprites and goblins and cryptozoological, lost world adventures in a Borneo-esk landscape playing through my mind... ;)

Oh, and Hi All...

Ooh, Brev, looking forward to your entry!

I can't remember the last time I spent this long on a writing challenge. I've been polishing my entry to bits. Hopefully there'll be something left of it by tomorrow!
