Sekrit Santa 33 1/3

I like the idea of a dragon starship pilot, recruited for it's lifespan and cold intellect, flying a human colony to a distant colonisable world, and, as wages, carrying dragon eggs too, so the new settlement will be multiracial…

Okay, I've thought. If I ask really nicely with cherries on top, can I please have one about a wood elf who really likes to cook, but something goes wrong where she's banned from her colony forever? Throw in a dashing villain that's kind of relatable, add a pinch of forbidden romance, and BAM! You've got it :)

Mine still stands the same :)

Oh, you have loads of time. I'm planning on doing the assignments at the end of the month. :)

I humbly request a story with sharks with frickin' lasers on their heads. Robot sharks with lasers would be even better if the author could swing it, but mortal sharks are acceptable.

Also would like a protagonist with an embarrassing personal problem.

Hi TDZ, I'm in please!!!

I would like a sci-fi story about bionic / cybernetic humans with interesting weapons.

Arrrrrr... go on then, I'm in...

I'd like a story about a haunted something. Don't mind much more than that as long as it's not fantasy :p

(AKA the one-trick-pony) :D

you mean ghosts are real? (hides under covers...)

I haven't taken part in this since the first one. Thought I saw in someone's post that there is a 1000 word target now. Is that right? (I think the one I did before was around 5,000.) Anyway, just wondering if a word limit had been added in the second go around.

No word limit. Time limit, but not word. :)
The thousand words is and has been a suggested minimum, a stipulation that basically says "Give it a good treatment. Let the story have room to run." But its pretty noholdsbarred writing in fullfilling the requests.
