What are you working on right now?

I'm working on where my story goes next. Got the next few chapters discovered and allowing the relationship between Cece and George to develop which is fun.

The world of Edwardian porn is proving rather murky.

Ch6 of Sir Edric's Treasure. I've got the main story ready in my head, not quite sure how this particular chapter will go. Seems ok so far.

I swear opting to set my story in 1912 will be the death of me. Corsets, policing, cars, phones, and even flipping fountain pens changed that year.

Put my Fantasy short on hold while I try a new idea for a Novella (at this point that is the idea, could grow...or die?)

I really like the new idea and I started out with a short prologue and started Apartment 217's story in the first chapter. I only have around 6-700 words so far but I know where I'm going with it so all I need is time to assault a keyboard for a bunch of hours now! Doarian Gray is the inspiration for this modern take on the man in 217.

Hi,

Just sent my first revision after editing back to my editor for the second edit, and hopefully will pub The Nephilim this month or next. Then wrote a blog this morning, and now am already starting back into my arcane smith novel. 90k and flying!

Cheers, Greg.

Writing in the sun with a cup of coffee. Working on my new WIP, tentatively called Bleecker for the street the apartment is on. It is a real street in Greenwich village and in the perfect location for my story. So close that my model can walk to SoHo where all the major designers are. It also works because in Dorian Gray, the woman he falls for is a theatre actress..well good thing Broadway is only a few blocks away!

Short story I'm working on is like a hostage who refuses to stay locked in the basement. I'm hoping to finally nail it down in the near future.

On a less murdery note, I'm also trying to get Ch5-6 of Sir Edric's Treasure in a fit state to be beta-read, and thinking of how Ch7 should go.

I'm poking an idea in my brain. Been emailing alchemist with questions, so I may start writing it soon. An m/f romance.

The sodding prism scene prologue. My notes at 3pm this afternoon included:

Voice? Have you heard of it, Jo.

Stop being such a wimp, character.

Oh, come on! Live!

I've written this too many fecking times.

By 5pm they were deleted and I was a little happier... :)

Springs, glad I'm not the only one who writes silly things in to-do lists (made up words and self-mockery abound).

Just completed the last review pass and final spellcheck on 'Agents of Fate'. Time to watermark and convert it to PDF, and it's off to my proof-readers & editor for a mauling.

Now for a bacon sarnie and a smoke, then it's on with turning the final draft of 'Stars of Black' into a proof-ready document. Which will be off to proof-reading 'team 2', as dumping two books on one set of people within a week is just rude.

Sounds exciting do you have the characters worked out?

I'm not sure if this was to me or Thad, whose idea sounds way more exciting than mine!

I've got the stirrings of a woman in my mind. She's given me her name and a teeny bit of background but I don't have a personality for her. I don't have a guy at all.

After not really writing much for a while, procrastinating about things, bothering alchemist with questions to do with a complex m/f romance, I have today written 417 words of my Allery/Locke & Co story. There's nothing like starting something uber difficult to make you go back to something you'd abandoned because you thought it was hard work!
