What are you working on right now?

Edit of Hand of Glory going very well. I am about to begin work on the additional scene at the end. All the other things have been addressed. Though it will need another read through once scene is in place.

WIP, my WWII story, I have the end in my head now and It will work, just need to get the two story lines to that point. A lot of editing and writing here. Also Catnip, a second story using the characters from Hand of Glory needs to be worked on. I also have two short stories to work on over the next month. Also a couple of other ideas are banging away in my head.

Hopefully the good weather is here for a bit and I can get outside in my new summerhouse with my lap top and work to my heart's content. I always work better when the sun is out and the nights are light.

Editing, again with the editing, book 2 First Comes Duty. Meh. It's what we do.

Gave myself a holiday from editing while on holiday. Tried writing something new and while I liked the idea, writing it was like giving birth to a full grown pig, so that one goes to the reserve bench for a while.

Back to editing it is and I've just realise the whole premise of Chapter 3 is utter nonsense.

Self-published two comics in April, continued writing a novel and will be editing another novel this month.

Project 1 is off to Fresh Eyes. Project 2 is back from Fresh Eyes and will be kicked out to survive on its own later today.
Project 3 won't shut up, so that starts after the weekend.

Main priority is redrafting a second entry in a trilogy, although I'm also working on the first draft of a comedy.

And may soon write a short.

Beginning a new story, Brigadoon Missouri. As far as the plot goes just imagine the cast of Lord of the Flies and Alien unleashed upon Disneyland by a sinister amalgamation of Donald Trump and Ronald McDonald.

After a month or so of not writing in my book, I got about 2100 words down Monday night. I am so close to the end I can smell it...must keep going...

Solar Alliance re-write, it's at about 100K and nearly done. Then "print" to eBook, annotate & final content edit, then "print" to eBook and proof read and release edit (Have to repeat that stage!).
Upload and have release 2 to 5 weeks later.

I'm writing the second in my YA series about parallel universes, (about a third of the way through), trying to get some blogs written in preparation for putting together an author website, prior to self-publishing the first in the series, hopefully in July. All the while researching marketing/publishing, because I've never done this before and want it to earn me a basic living in the long run. Was made redundant last summer from a journalism career, can't find a job and want to convert my dream of being an author into a reality. Wish me luck!

Last read through of Hand of Glory started before it goes back to the publisher for the next round.

Started writing a short story that needs to be submitted mid June. (going well)

Researched another short story that needs to be submitted the end of June. (also going well)

I have begun putting together the maze of written scenes I have for my WWII supernatural tale. I have 70,000 words of something.... I need to make them make sense and add about another 30,000 to 40,000 to finish the tale.

So not a bad week so far.

I need to get the first short story in first draft for this weekend. So onwards.

Harmonic analysis of Rondo ala Turka and the Mission Impossible theme, if these vids turn out to be instructive like they say they are. Waiting for inspiration otherwise.

I am so close to the end I can smell it...must keep going...

Trying to get started on a hostage rescue scene in an effort to get my first novel finished, while beating off the ideas for other stories to focus on finishing this one.

Been writing this one for far too long, but have completed a first draft, a first pass editing and just trying to get the second draft finished for beta reading. Worried I'm now tacking connections in to explain plot points that are covered elsewhere and so really don't need to be in there...

Is there a word for this feeling of verging on insanity?

A big push over the last week or so to get my 'final' edit done, then I need to work out how to compile the single Word chapters into one file that can be copied to a Kindle so I can hear a robot voice (I hope) identify any remaining typos and infelicities.

I now use Scrivener to make ebooks and it is awesome
