Hey, no one who tries truly "bombs."

--- You might not be aware that overly self depreciative correspondence has earned the dreaded E (SLAP!!). Just talk to Karn about this. :D

Hah, farntfar, loved it! It's wonderfully weird, bravo!! :)

And MatterSack, nicely done! I had missed yours somehow.

Family/Sci-Fi or Fantasy

Telford - You took my beloved classic tv show, Lost in Space....and turned it into a fantastic funny tale. Mu-ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. I loved it (I almost wrote a Lost in Space tale too).

Ashleyne. B. Watts - Wonderful demonic tale, which reflects human nature, by displaying an overprotective parent. Your final line, made me think of many children who said the same thing.

Flyerman11 - First off, nice to meet you. And second, I'm thrilled that you wrote a Lovecraftian story. Your spooky characters are terrific, and I would like to read further. I imagine many ghoulish things to come.

Karn Maeshalanadae - You've spun a webbed tale of excellence. I'm an admirer of arachnids, and I just grinned with delight at the creepiness you captured me with. I feel a bit hungry. "Help me. Help me." "Silence!"

Mouse - Whoa nelly! Another tremendous story horror. But this time, this entry features a father that would do anything to make his child happy, anything. Diabolically delicious, and stunningly cool.

Springs - A tender tale which showcases the love for a child, no matter what defects the soon-to-birth baby may have. Tragic, yet beautiful at the same time. Marvelously written story.

Bowler1 - Astonishing science fiction drama! My friend, I am overwhelmed at the brilliance of your fine tale. I could picture it clearly in my mind. I loved it, like a ray gun. Thnk fast! BZZZT. Ha ha, fried him like an egg.

Johnnyjet - Far-out fantasy story that blew me away. I was very enchanted with your higly entertaining story. Wonderful. I felt warm and toasty insde while reading it. Good stuff.

Ratsy - Eerie and disturbingly awesome. This is like a great Tales From the Crypt story, from those classic comic books of horror. Superbly written, which made me read it twice.

Aun Doorback - Terrific twisted tale of science fiction that made my jaw drop. Black-hearted bureaucracy at it's terrifing finest. I really like the idea of the brother and sister team.

Great new stories, everyone! Wow, yours was so touching, Starbeast...very moving! CC

Thanks Cat's. I almost missed your comment.

I agree, lots of great stories. And some really freaky ones from the pits of darkness.

Family/Sci-Fi or Fantasy
(part two)

Khayos - A deep, dark, gripping drama that tugs at the heart-strings. Such a scary thought, having an alien parasite grow inside of you, only to emerge and seek more victims. Cool sci-fi horror.

Victoria Silverwolf - Oh my gosh. You had me squirming in my chair with sickening, but well written shocking entertainment. You certainly jam-packed the essence of nightmares in a tidy tale. Outstanding.

BigJ - Alright! A werewolf story. You deliver us a fearsome tale that reads like a classic European monster movie, featuring the late, great horror actor, Paul Naschy. Good stuff.

Cat's Cradle - Heh heh. You caught me off gaurd with your fine story. I wasn't sure what direction you were leading into, but you surprised me at the end, with a fierce grave cursing. Nicely done sir.

Martin321 - Awesome tale which would definately make a great episode of the classic tv show, TheTwilight Zone. Your story has that refined creepiness, that makes my spine tingle, and mouth curl with a smile.

Glen - This is such an amazingly cool, weird, science fiction story that ensnares my interest, and pokes at me with a tickling stick. Freaky, far-out fun, while being disturbing at the same time.

Alchemist - Who says you can't have fun with the solar system? Galactic good times here, with a stunning reveal at the end. Well written sir. I'll never look at Uranus the same way again.

David Evil Overlord - Heh heh. Way to go with your entry, served up hot, and ready to take out. Oh my, I felt like I was reading a spoof of, A Game of Thrones. Very funny.

Remedy - I really enjoyed how you crafted your tale, with oozing goodness. Quite pleasent and entertainingly descriptive, like a feel good story. I felt rather relaxed and read your entry again.

A. Fare Wells - Extremely good drama about an individual, helplessly drifting out into space. I always like these, "astronaut in peril" tales. And yours is among the best of them.

Thanks for the review, Starbeast. Also, the Uranus comment (on your review for Alchemist’s story) made me laugh.

Thanks Beasty. Good to see you back with your always encouraging comments.

Thanks Cat's.
I like wonderfully weird.
Plain daft, is what you meant. :)

Thank you Starbeast. I really appreciate the nice words :)

Many thanks to you, SB. I rather like arachnids myself; the rest of the family hates them. It's a shame, too; there are very few species in Oregon that affect humans at all, and none are particularly deadly. I would say the most dangerous would be the black widow, but only to those with severely compromised immune systems.

Nice story, michaelhall2007! Very funny! There's a 300 word contest this month, too! Welcome to the Chrons!! CC

Ta-dum tish! Thanks Starbeast :D

You're welcome Alchemist. Heh heh.

Thanks for the review, Starbeast. Also, the Uranus comment (on your review for Alchemist’s story) made me laugh.

You're welcome Ashleyne. I couldn't resist.

Ta very much, Starbeast!

You're very welcome Mouse.

Ty lovely Starbeast. :)

You're immensely welcome Springs.

Thanks Beasty. Good to see you back with your always encouraging comments.

You're welcome, and thanks pal. I try to be here for those reviews. I LOL when I read your tale.

Thank you Starbeast. I really appreciate the nice words :)

Absolutely Ratsy. My pleasure. Keep em' flying.

Thanks, Starbeast. :)

You're welcome Overlord. Wait a minute. If your smile face is here...that means, you're running around without it. David, Noooo! ;)

You're very welcome Karn. I have tons of spider species where I am.. Want me to ship A few bucket fulls (of different types) to you, by UPS?

The Brown Widow & Black are the most dangerous here.

You're too kind SB and Vic. I am not too excited about my entries this month. Weak compared to everyone else's which are extraordinary.

You're welcome A. Fare Wells. I thought your story was very well done.

Never compare your work to anyone else's. Try this for next time: after you write a story, don't post it right away, let it sit for a while. You may alter your tale with ideas later, or come up with something completely different. Then when you feel comfortable with your creation, post.

I made the mistake of rushing a few times. I came up with other ideas.

Family/Sci-Fi or Fantasy
(part three)

Mr Orange - Heh heh. Oh my goodness. Little "Mr Hot Pants", messed around in time and made some serious boo-boos. However, this made me chuckle and shake my head. Good stuff.

Juliana - You dazzle us with a fantastic fridgid elemental being who wishes to end his bloodline. Biting cold story that is a very well taylor-made tale of frozen fantasy.

Starbeast - I've written a string of humourous entries for quite a while. So I thought I would try my hand at a drama.

MatterSack - Nice to meet you. Excellent science fiction story about human DNA, and genetic bloodlines. I still remember as a kid, when I was taught in school that humans evolved from primates. (I'm rolling my eyes right now)

Farntfar - Zowie. Here I am, just reading along, not sure where you are taking me, then....WHAM-MO!!! You blast me with a funny zinger at the end of your interesting tale. Marvelous surprise.

Michaelhall2007 - Firstly, nice to meet you. And second, you delivered a very good story joke. Heh heh. If I tried that with my parents, oh man! A definate slam-dunk on your fine offering.

*sneaks in*

Hello!>

Remember me?

I'm sorry for not having been around for a few months now, became exceptionally busy with work and it sucked the life force out of me.

Congrats Juliana on winning last month! I see we have an interesting theme this month.

Hows everyone doing???
