Many thanks for your review there, Victoria.

Not really much I can say about it...I was thinking of a different direction for it, to be sure, but of course, restraints gave me what I posted.

Come to think of it, there's a few 300s that I have been wanting to expand for a while...

Thank you kindly, Victoria, for the very nice review of my story! :)

I really enjoyed your 'Visions'; there is such a beautiful flow and rhythm to your writing...you really feel a part of the story, language is used so beautifully. Well done!

some good stories there everyone.

i had absolutely nothing until tonight when i was staring at the picture and a phrase of despair came to mind. that then became the first line of the story and i have now got 400 or so words to whittle and improve

I got something out. Other than the 75 word, this is all i've written in the past month or so...Just haven't had the time and I didn't want to be stressed thinking about having to write it.

Any writing is good writing, ratsy.

It might not always be good reading, but it is good writing. Even if you have to tear it to shreds with tooth and claw later. Helps get the groove back. Try tempting your muse with chocolate cake? :D

Thanks Phyre, I haven't read the entries yet. I might wait until the end of the month and curl up at the fireplace with a coffee to enjoy them fully.

Not a chocolate guy...I've never had a sweet tooth. But as I just finished a large assignment and submitted it today, I think I may leave my schooling for a day and do some writing on my WIP tomorrow. It is getting lonely and starting to talk to me from the other room.

That's nothing.... When your neglected stories start plotting to kill you, then you should worry.

Terrific new stories! Phyrebrat, loved the mood of yours! And Robert Mackay, I thought yours was wonderful! Love the how perfectly the flashbacks established the MC's story arc!
