The word counting pixie goes on an epic quest, in search of minions to do the harmful work of actually counting words. This epic fantasy tale weighs in at 8,567,321,001 words...:)

well, got mine in. it shouldn't bother the pixies

The word-count pixie showed me an "ancient document" (still wet from the tea he'd used to age it up) which supposedly declared that flashy scene-break symbols count as 200 words each, and since you'd used two of them, it was obviously over-count and he didn't need to do any more. A clip round his pointy ear sorted out that nonsense.

A clip around the ear with his own weighty tome would sort that pixie out...:)

I am utterly flabbergasted, I'm going to treasure this review, thank you Victoria.

The only thing I've ever read that was even Austen-esque was Pride and Prejudice...and Zombies :)

Posted mine :)

Didn't want to read the entries before I post mine, looking forward to doing it toight :D

Culhwch -- This variation on classic themes cleverly plays tricks with the reader's expectations more than once.

holland -- Multiple levels of reality interact with each other in unexpected ways in this subtle story which rewards rereading.
