DISCUSSION -- October 2014 75 Word Challenge

Love the suitably Halloween-y theme! =D

Kerry Buchanan, your story really made me both grin and shiver all at the same time! It looks like it's going to be another tough month when it comes to voting ^_^

Simple, underlength and, this month, not a poem. Too obvious, perchance. And in.

Can try for 300.

Thanks the review Victoria. And Thanks for the comments ,CC and Kerry.

So, my first non-anonymous(!) challenge. I decided the best approach would be to stay away from the thread until I'd writtten something. Then I saw the number of posts already and thought I'd best get a waggle on - you people work fast!

Glad I didn't read in advance, tbh, I'd just get myself into some sort of rework moebius strip. There're some really cool stories and I'm still in awe of folks' ability to get so much content in so few words. However, as I said in my Intro spiel, I have a low supernatural threshold - so if I suffer sleepless nights from now until November, I'm blaming Chrons. ;)

...I'm still in awe of folks' ability to get so much content in so few words.

That's a terrific story, Darkchrome! I love the atmosphere you established in your own 75-words-of-content! I forgot to mention way-back-when but I really enjoyed your first story, the anonymous one from that other challenge you entered! :)

I'm in.:) I wasn't sure I'd be able to fit the idea into 75 words, but I managed it. Now I can focus on the 300 word contest a bit more.

Just entered my tale, just after I wrote and fine tuned it. Whew. Time to relax.

I wonder what the others have written so far. I'll take a peek.

Thanks again Teresa for this challenge. I had fun.

Well i'm in. a bit random but strangely the first thing that popped into my head when i read the theme...

oh, and really good stories so far. farntfar i especially liked yours..

Its a good theme but my mind is still a blank this month (a normal state of affairs really - blankety blank (no American will get that reference without the help of Google)).

Where am I again?

Well, I looked up "blankety blank" and sure enough I didn't get what a Brit would mean by that. But in my area "blankety blank" is sometimes used instead a crude rude language. "That old blankety blank."

Google "Les Dawson Blankety Blank"

Alternatively, I'll just inform you that it was a crappy panel game from the 80's
