In the grand scheme of things, tonsilitis isn't exactly up there with some of the proper things people suffer through. I was just being a big wuss with the combination of too much work and too many end of year gigs/nights out! I'm getting tad old to be burning the candle at both ends, I suspect

Oh, I love the story I received, thanks so much! I will say one thing, and hope I don't give anything away, RE:voting...the first half of the tale was so wonderful! (Forgive me, I do not mean what I say next as criticism at all...I mean to encourage..) And then I can tell where my author reined themselves in, for fear of writing too much. I would encourage you, if you have time, to go back to that point in the story and unleash your imagination. Expand this story, it has soooo much potential! I loved the concept, the execution (of the first half in particular), and the characters. I could see a series of stories based around the two main characters. The work, as is, is terrific, and again thank you!! I just would love to see the entire story written as you did the first half...I think you'd really have something there. Well done!
