"In Search of Tranquility" -- The author blends nostalgia with a yearning for the future in this sensitive character study.

In a bit of a rush here, so I'll just note that I had to vote for

"Abiogenesis and the Redemption of The Lost"

because it was an extraordinarily sophisticated and intricately structured poem.

The guessing part of this is dissolving my brain.

Here's my list and vote while I keep debating the names:

The Play's The Thing
To Be, or Not To Be
Abiogenesis and the Redemption of The Lost
--- **Vote**
In Search of Tranquility

Work's Wages Won
To Be, or Not To Be
*Don't Mention the Cat*
The Play's the Thing
Abiogenesis...
Did We Really Walk on the Moon?

It is a curious thing, that as the guy who's running this challenge, I am unable to see who voted for whom.
It would appear that, until I have voted, I am not accorded that right, and as I know who is who, I can't vote.
Not a big problem except I don't know who to have a go at.
There were 19 entries, and assuming for the moment that I am not the fictitious author, and that there are so far only sixteen votes, that means there must be
AT LEAST 2 ENTRANTS WHO HAVE NOT VOTED YET.
There is only a day (and a bit) left, so............
GET ON WITH IT.
(or incure the wrath of farntfar!!!!!!)

I don't think anyone can see who voted on this poll - I'd suggest you didn't tick the box when setting up the poll. The only argument against this is that people could possibly vote for their own entries, and I don't believe many of us would do that. But why shouldn't you vote? Because you know who's who? But you're voting for the submission, not the submitter, just like the seventy-five word challenge, y the waywhere everybody knows everybody.

I have already voted, by the way. So don't require smiting. Please?

Tis often the way, less votes than entries. As it happens, I have voted, despite not entering the challenge. I went for In Search of Tranquility, although To Be, or Not To Be gave it a close battle for the vote.

Personally, I like the idea of not knowing. In fact, I think the list of names for those who entered should be withheld until after the poll is decided; only then should you ask for a guessing/deduction game on the authors' identities. Before that, could be pure speculation. A double challenge, if you like.

As you have revealed the names, however, (even with an additional red herring) I'll say I think springs is responsible for Out of the Frying Pan.... It has the ring of her voice about it, although that could simply be a ruse by the author to throw us off the scent - or a coincidence. Others I have a couple of ideas about, but am not sure...yet.

It's meant to be pure speculation, Abbey. But I've only made an attempt at guessing three entries. I don't even know who entered and who didn't, so I don't want to throw out names only to find out they never came in at all.

I am tied up at the mo' and my brain already hurts so I voted for In Search of Tranquility but have no notions to who did what...I hope to read again and do a small list before the vote is up!

Abernovo, I remember one time I typed your name with an A at the end (I think) You pointed out that was the female spelling of the name and I have tried to not spell it wrong again./..but Abbey....not sure I will start calling you that :)
