Discussion - May 2015 100-Word Anon Writing Challenge (#6)

I had not intended to vote in this challenge, because it might seem unfair since I have seen the authors. However, I did vote for two reasons:

1. Nosiness. I can't see the poll results unless I vote.

2. I have a clinically poor memory, so without looking up my spreadsheets I can't actually remember who wrote what.

So, having hopefully protected myself from fallout, here are my favourites and vote:

Encapsulated Diffractions
Translations
Clean Sweep
The Legolas Concerto aka That Poncy Elf
Aidan
Time to Reflect

And no, I'm not guessing. :p

So I voted and I could have sworn that Victoria wrote the story I'd chosen...then on the poll I saw that she voted for the same story...so there goes that theory

My favorite three were

Reflective Life - Juliana or Ashlyene
Savior - has to be Jo!
Eyes of Fate- thought Victoria, but obviously not...maybe Holland???

I'll try to guess more later

Lots of stories to choose from this time around, good to see such an enthusiastic response. I have three on my shortlist-

Dialogue Without Voices
Translations
Prisonception
.

Two stories vied for my vote, in the end.

The Legolas Concerto aka That Poncy Elf brought an excellent story, and best title, to the competition, I felt.
But The Damnation of Qaseem just had a slight edge when it came to deciding a winner. Eternal torment gets my vote :)

However, I did vote for two reasons:

I was about to say that I think that's perfectly all right that you vote, whether you remember who voted or not, and that I did when I was running it.
But to be perfectly honest I'm not sure whether I did vote then.

What a strange power this challenge holds.
- Not sure if I entered yet.
- Not sure if I voted.
- Not sure if I need to thank anyone.

I'd say it's uncanny. But I'm not sure it is.

Of course I could actually say, "Oooh I really liked D G Jones' story," but would that mean I was bluffing, or that I actually knew the story, or indeed that I knew who the red herring was and was just fanning the flames of confusion.

Don't know about every one else but I'm confused

(No, for the record).

I'll nonchalantly raise an eyebrow and dispassionately throw in my hand.

(If I was holding one, which I might not be because I might not even be playing.)

And now I've been Pythoned....
